What's new

Biyombo- just came out he has back issues- worth the risk?

I think there are better options at #12, especially if we get Kanter at #3. Burks, Walker, and Jimmer.

I haven't seen anyone else reports Biyombo's back problems beside Hoops Report. Maybe it's bogus?

It probably is.

And what's a "problem?"

Was his back a little sore?

Did they find a nail in it?

And what is a "knee problem?"

Again, a little soreness isn't a problem. But did they find ligament damage? Is he in crutches today?

This just seems all too vague and ill reported to warrant much credibility.

On the other hand, that same link says he has now been invited to the green room... so maybe the anticipated slide is over.

My dream is for the Jazz to move some combination of Jefferson, Harris, CJ, Raja, Tomic and picks (both current and future) for Kyrie Irving, Derrick Williams, Bismack Biyombo and Charles Jenkins. Yes, it's outlandish (although, IMO, not impossible, if Harris and Big Al have value to either CLeveland or teams that have assets that Cleveland likes).

A starting lineup of Favors-Williams-Millsap-Hayward-Irving is so ridiculously smart, crafty and versatile. A bench including Biyombo-Evans-Jenkins could also cause some serious headaches for opposing teams.

I will, no doubt, be at least a little disappointed after tonight's draft.
