Here is a photo to get rid of the ugly crow meal appear in the preview;
Should have spent that money on? Are you in the camp of he will never be healthy or he is not a good player? Or just trying to get a rise out of people?
Fair enough, do you think we won't resign Hayward because of lack of money?I'm in the camp that would rather see mediocre-at-best bench players walk than give them huge deals. Especially when their defense sucks. I would rather overpay Hayward with that money.
He has 0 shot blocking instincts and his shooting is far from Memo level.
You are really bad at evaluating basketball. You think the Jazz suck but Pleiss can potentially be a Memo who can block shots? Good lord my man stop huffing the Elmer's.
That's why Jazz must be cutting him.You obviously never watched game play, and ignored the caveat about how it would translate to the NBA but don't let that get in the way of screaming unfounded opinions and insults. Gotta go with your strengths.
My opinion is that Pleiss' shooting ability is irrelevant if he can't bring any other ballpark skills that are passable for a big man. He's not bringing rebounding. He's not bringing rim protection or shot blocking that we can see. Is he able to body-up bigger players? If he can't bring any big man skill but apparently brings shooting, what would be the difference between playing Pleiss at C or signing Korver to play C, other than probably more realistic scoring opportunities for Korver?
He can shoot, but the shot is slow as **** and he isn't shooting it over anyone. Memo was an assassin with his shot. Pleiss shot 32% from 3 in the D-League.
But even if he shoots good it's pointless. You can go find a 6'5" who shoots good, too, and offers the same rebounding and defense (none), but at least will be a little quicker in transition, getting open and getting their shot off.
IDK about pointless, but yeah, even if Pleiss was an exceptional 3pt shooter he still wouldnt be much of a NBA player.
