I heard that on the press conference too, but I can't see any news sources confirming it yet.

Spence Checkets on 1280 just talked about the third bomb.

Yup at the JFK library. As soon as I saw the Boston Marathon headline I was bracing for more. I would not be surprised if more happen, if they spread beyond Boston and if they are all linked.

Edit: Two other devices beyond the 3 that exploded are being dismantled by police. That is 5 bombs.

BTW, given the seriousness of the issue, we should not have off-topic conversations here.

It's only a matter of time before OneBrow turns this into a circular discussion on some perceived issue anyway. But, getting back to the topic, at least nobody was hurt at the library.

Why the F are people screwing with such a great city? So sad.

At least only 2 people have died. So really were only talking like a car accident. But still sounds like a lot of brutal injuries.

Seems like this could have been much worse. Glad the damage was fairly minimal.

If we want to be adult about it and live in a free society, we'll need to take it.

For reference, I have a brother who lives in Boston (I have not heard from him today), and had two siblings and a mother who lived in NY during the Twin Towers attack. So, these words are not from a lack of empathy, but it's still important.

just heard a report - primarily speculation - that this is perhaps a domestic terrorist action rather than international
two reasons the analyst thinks it may be domestic:
1 - the fact that no group has yet claimed credit, international organizations are typically quick to claim credit
2 - the time frame, OKC, Columbine, Branch Davidians, VA Tech, etc - these and other events have all taken place around the IRS income tax deadline/Hitler's birthday
