I have no idea how to kill this rumor. I already posted links to quotes about it in other threads. I know everyone wants a justification for having Mike here because his presence isn't doing what we were told it would do, but this is not the case. Sonofabitch.

But he didn't. He made a comment that sounded like something every athlete says. Had Conley not just been added, he would have talked about the stability of the returning line-up and playing with Mitchell and Gobert. The press needed a quote and Bojoan wasn't going to say "I came because they offered more money and more years."

Sorry for the pile-on @tfivas, it's not you but the idea I was jumping on.

This. We offered more money and more years. That's the end. Sure he was happy to come to a winning situation and who doesn't want to play with other good players but no where did he ever mention Conley without mentioning the rest of the team. In fact in most quotes I could find he seemed more impressed to play with Rudy as the reigning DPOY than anyone else.

I still laugh about the Kings drafting that guy in the lottery (and then I realize we drafted Burke 9th). It seems like half of that Wolverines team got drafted. Well... at least LeVert, Hardaway and one or two others panned out.

It ain’t ever gonna die.

I imagine starting my first day at a new job and having my coworkers ask why I picked this place... and I was like “dolla dolla bills y’all”. I’m sure everyone would appreciate the honesty right?

I love Bojan. He’s a killer and all bizness. Glad he’s here... he came for the money and many “experts” said we overpaid.
 
Former Baylor point guard Pierre Jackson shot out the Stars tonight as he was 6-7 from 3 and had 10 assists and was +29 in the box score. He lead the Chinese Basketball Association in scoring and assists last year. He played for the Idaho Stampede and averaged 29 a game for them when Cooley was there. Hard nosed player.

That’s one way to look at it. Another way to see it is that we have a pretty good track record of taking the guy that the other team prefers Trey Lyles to.
