Man, did Thriller just passive-agressively play the whole "refs cost us the game" card? Look at it this way Thriller: Consider it make-up for the missed horse collar call that would have put Utah in close FG range, or the replay they got wrong that gave BYU a 1st down instead of a 3rd and long. Did the refs forget to block Burton too? Did they let Devonte Christopher go up over the top of them and pull down a TD? Weak sauce man.

And Salty, if it is Boise, then so be it. Obviously Utah would have a huge mountain to climb, but I hope BYU fans like Thriller don't mind if Utah actually shows up to the game and gives it their best shot instead of pissing their pants with fear.

See I knew I shouldn't have posted, I stated I'm not happy with how Wynn played this season and I even knocked him for several things in this thread and stated Heaps played better. I am a U fan and other fans bagging on him was wearing thin in regards to people comparing stats from this years game so that's all I was trying to do is to add perspective and show that last year a Freshman Wynn looked to have something to build on but it obviously hasn't worked out that way this season.
Last year us U fans (offensively not defensively) felt similar to how Thriller is coming across in his posts saying (trying to remove his trash talking undertones to keep it civil).

*edit crap busy at work and left this open for over an hour, guess I should've just stuck with short snarky trash talk for Thriller*

The refs did screw up a call that gave the Utes the ball. Is a turnover an even trade for a missed horse collar call, no.
Did BYU score on the posession when the first down call was made... I dont think so, so it really had no effect on the game.
Burton made a great play, Christopher made a great play too.
Could BYU have done more to win the game, like kick a field goal instead of going for it on 4th, yes.
The screwed up fumble call had a huge impact on the game because the result of the change of possession was a TD.
It is lame to say quit blaming the refs, and just win the game.... as a coach and player that is all and well to block it out mentally so they can continue to play at a high level. As a fan when I am not on the field, it did affect the game.
Burton's block stopped 3 points. The refs bad call resulted in 7 points for the U.

Bottom line, good game by BYU, average game by the U, bad calls more in favor of U = U win.
That is the reality of it.
That takes nothing away from the good plays either side made.... that Christopher catch was amazing, and the Burton blocked kick was very timely and a great play when it was needed.

The game is over, both sides should quit whining.
Any by both sides I mean the Utes, you won on a gift... accept it and run with it, but don't be blind.

Total fabrication. See the picture I posted if you are interested in the truth. Or keep spouting fabrications, whatever.

Jazzspazz I find it hilarious how you try to marginze the missed horsecollar call. Tack on 15 yards on to that play and Utah is in FG range, maybe more. Even if they settle for 3 at that point it makes Utah's 4th qtr lead 4 instead of 1. And on the fumble call that hurt Byu you act like the call itself gave Utah 7 points. It was Byu that let them into the endzone.

I agree that it was bad calls both ways and that Utah played like hell but I don't look at it as a gift. In the last 15 minutes Utah made huge plays when they had to, Byu did not.

Kudos. Wynn is having shoulder surgery and is out.
LOL! I was driving a girl for drivers ed and she was blabbing aways like girls do. Her sister's former BF has a class with Wynn and he was saying how Wynn was going off about his shoulder and how there was no way he was going to play. I knew the kid and confirmed via text.

But other times I'm sitting there getting the info right from the source. Just passing on what I hear. Take them for what they are worth.

And again, LMAO at those that think this is some junior high power play for popularity on this board. Get a life, Lamer(s).

Byu did not lose the game because of this call. They lost the game for a series of stupid plays and stupid decisions. But if you think that was a fumble after watching replay you are a blind homer and anything out of your mouth should be disregarded. Your pictures is awful that is 2 seconds after he was down. watch 1:18.

I don't see where the knee is when the ball comes out in your link. If you claim is in there, then post that shot.

I posted a clear shot showing the ball was out (not coming out, not being stripped, but already gone) while his butt was still in the air and the knee wasn't even all the way down yet.

Your link was not conclusive. It showed his knee, but didn't show where the ball started coming out.

Nice try though, homer.
