He's a combo guy... might be best as a point guard. Manu in his prime was an all-star... came off the bench because it maximized the overall team output.

Replace Steph with CJ... does GS still win the title this year. Replace Kyrie with CJ... do the Cavs still make the finals? Contending teams are tough measuring sticks when considering individual players.

CJ is way better than some of you are letting on... borderline all star type. Shooting matters.
 
As much as I like him as a player, I just don't see how it makes any sense for our roster particularly if Favors is involved in the deal. Of the players listed, I think Faried makes the most sense for us if he could be had for an Alec Burks and a Raul Neto.

If we didn't retain Hill it would make sense to me, but as presently constituted I agree. 95% of our problems would be solved if we were totally healthy.

All I said was the Bucks is overload with Centers, they can afford to trade 1. Obviously POR would target Henson if they're after a defensive big.

You have to be out of your mind. Last year, for the most part, Favors outplayed AD head-to-head. AD is no Magic Johnson or Larry Bird who makes the rest of his team better. Low BB IQ.

BKL resets with a young up and coming PG/SG. POR gets a defensive centre who can also score inside and outside. A great 1-2 punch with Lillard.
 
We have a good young scoring SG. Let's focus on our PF hole in case Favors is damaged goods
 
And Bismack Biyombo just started for the Magic and shutdown the Spurs. Him and Gordon would excel w/ the Blazers.

There are now over 5 pages of discussion in less than 24 hours, which seems to validate the (quoted) claim. Which just leaves one question for you, Dal, are you butthurt?
 
Cheat code shooters/scorers are difficult to overrate. This is definitely a worthy conversation.
