Can the C.J. Miles experiment please end?

CJ should have been in to close out this game. Bell did nothing all night except get torched repeatedly on the defensive end.

Bell had a better shooting percentage than Miles, that's a fact. The Clanks did shoot 1 for 3 three pointers, which was better than normal since he usually misses 4 threes or more. But anyone that thinks Miles D is OK needs to watch his feet. He has no lateral speed and no anticipation. Miles leaves Miles of Space on defense.

Yet he outplayed Bell on defense in this game. Bell routinely got taken to the whole by both Ginobili and Parker when he was on them. Bell was 100% worthless in this game. Again the only thing you look at is shooting. What are you 5?

Miles defense this year is better than Bell. Bell deserves to sit the bench. All of Price, Miles, Watson and Howard should play instead of him right now. He is famous for his toughness that he seems to not have any more.

Complaining about Miles after this game just shows that your an idiot and a hater. Miles was in for both runs (again) and was a key in the 2nd quarter run to make up the lead the starters gave to the Spurs. Bell was in during both stretches where the offense did nothing and the defense gave the Spurs as many shots as they wanted. His defense allowing penetration By Ginobili was a major reason the team could not get stops in the 1st and late 4th quarters. All while adding almost nothing on offense except a few shots.

As of 11/18:
-16 Williams-Bell-Kirilenko-Millsap-Jefferson in 205 minutes of play this season
+46 Williams-Miles-Kirilenko-Millsap-Jefferson in 61 minutes of play this season

Enough said. Coaching 101.

C.J. Miles is not a reason the Jazz have lost 2 of their last 3 games, with all of 3 being at home.

Yet when CJ doesn't play, the Jazz do better. It's simple. If the Jazz as a team shot the same percentage and defended the same as Miles they would have no wins at all. No amount of illogical arguments and name calling from Bonkers will change that. He is a liability. He must have it somewhere in his contract that he gets to play. It has to be about money, because the decision to play him has nothing to do with basketball.

That's funny because I think your reasoning has nothing to little to do with basketball.

The Utah Jazz have outscored their opponents with CJ Miles on the floor in 11 of last 12 games and by a total of 95 pts. As per David Locke.

So your illogical argument is that because CJ shoots the lowest percentage of any other player on the team (https://www.nba.com/jazz/stats/) it makes the rest of the team shoot better? Or are you claiming that he leads the team in assists (1 per game)? Or is it his great defense based on grabbing and chasing?

Here's a great experiment for Sloan. Just play 3 games in a row without the clank. But I'm guessing that choice is out of Sloan's hands. This is not about basketball or giving the fans their money's worth.

My illogical argument? Wut? That was a statement of fact posted by the closest thing to a statistician we have access to.

CJ Miles just happens to come in when Bell and Jefferson come out. Bell and Jefferson are playing terrible, so it makes Miles looks good.

That said, Miles hasn't been horrible, and he's basically doing what he's been asked to. Have you seen the lineups the Jazz go with when he's on the floor? He's literally the only scoring option. If he doesn't chuck, we'll have to watch Ronnie Price and Earl Watson try to create shots. That would be much worse than CJ.
