There’s a lot of parallels that can be drawn between Boston/Hayward and Conley/Utah. Conley ought to be able to figure **** out. He has been around long enough and he’s overpaid enough to understand how things work. He’s gotta realize that with his contract he’s going to feel pressure and he needs to be effective. If he really is a great player he’s gotta be more than just a scorer. If he isn’t hitting his shots he’s got to become effective in some other way to help his team win games. He can’t be finding his shot every game. If he’s not hitting in 2-3 tries he needs to find other ways to be effective. The Jazz offense has plenty of scorers now, Conley doesn’t have the luxury of shooting himself into a rhythm every game. He’s gotta find other ways to be effective, he’s gotta give it his all on defense, he’s gotta be a playmaker, he’s gotta facilitate, he’s gotta push the ball, etc..
