I hope our boy Rand paid through the nose (free market prices) for his very in demand and low in supply test. Despite not having any symptoms. Otherwise, wouldn’t he be using socialism? And using it to gain benefits that the rest of us wouldn’t have?

libertarianism is a funny thing. Stuff is always “socialism” until you need it. Then, libertarianism goes out the window and “socialism” is fully embraced.
 


I agree with this. We need a way for Reps and Sens to vote remotely. Otherwise, our entire federal government is going to be infected with this crap and in quarantine.

You should have stopped there instead of going with that political, dual mentality non-sense. Not everything has to be red vs blue, left vs right.

Even countries with better healthcare systems than the US are struggling to cope with the virus. Countries that took extreme measures from the beginning seems to be doing better. Unfortunately, it all indicates that US will soon lead the world in total numbers of cases. I'm really hoping for things to get better over there and states/cities to take stricter measures to protect its population.

I think this is the right take. Nearly every country, ours included, didn't take it serious enough. I would disagree that Trump has done a good job though, I think quite the opposite.

And I also wouldn't agree that MAGA are the only ones not taking it seriously. Tons of videos out there of people chilling on California beaches and basketball courts together, visiting national parks that are jam-packed, etc. People not practicing social distancing knows no political affiliation, they just don't want to be disturbed of their routines.

True, France and Italy could’ve shut things down earlier. But this administration tried harder to exacerbate this problem than in actually solving it. Why? Because we’re led by an idiot.

even now they’re desperately trying to play politics to turn this ****up on its head and blame Democrats. They’re asking republicans to refer to Covid19 as the “Chinese virus” as bait to get Democrats talking about racism rather than this administration’s failures. Even today they’re less focused about our country’s well being than on Trump’s re-election.

Maybe Lopez Obrador in Mexico has been equally bad. Despite hundreds of cases being recorded, there is not a single measure being taken by the government. No restrictions on international/local travel. No social distancing. Nothing. He is downplaying the virus and politisizing the whole debate, blaming the right wing media for promoting chaos. He is a leftist Trump (that sounds like an oxymoron, but they have many things in common). It's discouraging.

Nothing is real until it impacts them directly. And the moment that happens it will become a colossal injustice perpetrated upon them by someone else - namely foreigners, illegal immigrants and poor people.

Thanks for the correction. The point remains that he is out of his depth. He keeps making the “no worse than flu” argument and ignores the #1 issue of overwhelming our medical resources.
 
Is it a surprise the biggest ******** of our lives happened under the watch of this moron? Oh, I’m sure it’s just a coincidence and no one could’ve handled it any better.

Humans don't deserve to live as long as we do anyways. The reactions to this pandemic is just another reason on the long list of things of why we don't. I'm especially looking at you toilet paper hoarders who are supposed to be "environmentally friendly".
