I think there were also 2 that investigated it and said, "We don't know" and 9 that haven't issued any reports.

Personally, I think investigating if it may have leaked from the lab is worth investigating, but it doesn't change much except maybe lab safety procedures. However, even if it is conclusively proven that it did leak from the lab, that is a long way from saying it was CREATED in the lab. There is, as far as I know, no suspicion among serious people that it may be man made.

It leaked from a lab but it wasn't manmade lol. They were literally CREATING SARS viruses to infect mice that they already engineered to have human lungs.

A/ We know that WIV (Wuhan Institute of Virology), together with EcoHealth, has been working on gain-of-function into MERS and they were creating chimeras with funding from the NIH (National Institutes of Health, US). This is all documented. [Usually] they created chimeras by taking the MERS full virus and replacing its spikes with those from the HKU4 virus. But the HKU4 spike is not as good at binding with human receptors as the MERS virus is. There was this argument that, if SARS-CoV-2 was to be engineered, they would have used one of the known reverse genetic systems (used to modify genes). Even at the time it was a weak argument, but now we know that there were unpublished coronavirus reverse genetic systems in use in Wuhan. So, it is completely within the realm of possibility that there was one built around the progenitor of SARS-CoV-2.

Our [recent] preprint conclusively shows that there were reverse genetic systems in use in Wuhan that have still not been published. So, who knows how many more unpublished backbones they had in use at the time. The WIV also boasted that they had thousands of viral samples in their private database, which means they could have had many different backbones on which they were working at a time.

To a much lesser degree than getting covid19. The vaccine will create a relatively small number of spike proteins for your immune system to respond to (thought to the trigger for the myocarditis issues, last I heard). The number of spike proteins created by covid infection would be a couple of orders of magnitude greater, at least.
