Did the fans really rush the field last after the game last night?
Bronco was drenched with gatorade, and I read an article the next morning about how he had to fight back tears during his press conference.
It's amazing how far the bar has been lowered in Provo. Seriously.
But not surprising.This is pitiful.
People will think I'm taking shots at BYU but I would think that BYU fans would feel the same way, if not more so. Wasn't LES the place that used to claim huge victims such as the Miami Hurricanes, Penn State Nittany Lions, and Washington Huskies (just to name a few)?
And now your team is struggling to beat UCF at home and then celebrating it as if they just capped an undefeated season? Your coach is fighting back tears in the press conference? He gets a bucket of gatorade dumped on him after a week 4 win against a Conference USA team? Your QB can't complete 50% of his passes, he once again threw more INT's than TD's and your team lost the yardage battle by a wide margin and this is considered a step in the right direction?
Growing up in the 80's and seeing the dominance of the Lavell era first hand, I'm completely and totally shocked at how complacement this team and it's fans are. However, I also find it extremely hilarious and satisfying.
Ya weird.People will think I'm taking shots at BYU.
I agree. It's embarrassing. It sure looked like Bronco could have been LaVell reincarnated there for a while. Now, I'm worrying it's Crowton part II.People will think I'm taking shots at BYU but I would think that BYU fans would feel the same way, if not more so. If it is Gary Crowton Part Deaux, who's waiting in the wings that would fit the criteria of a BYU hire? Can Andy Reid be lured away from the NFL?
