Play-calling is just terrible right now. Defense is fine. The problems are on offense and mostly Doman. Not ready to bail on him yet. The easier schedule should allow him to develop as an OC better.

I thought the comment made by the commentator about Doman not being in the press box was an interesting one. I never really thought about that until he mentioned it. Maybe that would help a bit.

I thought the comment made by the commentator about Doman not being in the press box was an interesting one. I never really thought about that until he mentioned it. Maybe that would help a bit.

I think Doman has a lot on his plate and that's why he feels he needs to be on the sideline. I think when you're in the box you can divorce yourself from a lot of distractions. Not to mention just the ability to see the defense better. I know he has guys doing that for him but I think a rookie OC needs the box more than a veteran just to close him off a bit from the chaos on the sideline. Doman is worried about the team but he needs to worry about himself for now.

BYU is one Houston Nutt poor decision away from being 0-3, and with Central Florida and USU looming, along with road games vs. TCU, Oregon State, and Hawaii, the Cougars are staring at the real possibility of missing out on the Bell Helicopter® Armed Forces Bowl. Jake Heaps is the Ryan Leaf of BYU.

Atleast Leaf made the NFL and made a couple bucks. Heaps better starting hitting the books so he can start thinking about how he's going to take care of his 10 year old wife.

Doman up top. Offense looked a bit more organized and improved but still a ways to go. Heaps is trying to aim the ball too much but credit UCF for tight coverage. Not a lot of penalties or huge mistakes. Good defense and special teams.
