Could the Jazz Milk Washington if The Ace Saga Sours?

Bartelstein would have got him where he wanted lol. But also Bartelstein would have likely been getting him drafted as high as possible to max his earnings.
i don't think we know what ace wanted - my guess is he wanted to get as much money as possible (meaning draft as early as possible) and stay on the east coast. everything we know about what "he" wanted, has been directed by omar. but yeah, if bartelstein is handling things, he would have been drafted third by philly.

Remember when Donovan Mitchell was drafted? He was so happy. He embraced the city and fans. Going to backyard BBQ's and stuff. He was basically every fans favorite player in his early years. Only player who I ever bought their shoes. Must have felt awesome to show up to each game and see all the Mitchell jerseys and to have everyone in the arena adore you. I wonder if having an entire fanbase supporting you in that way makes you play a little bit better as well. At least during the home games.

I think that is the better route to take.

Ace is young and naive. His “agent” knows his meal ticket could be ditching him if he gets around different people. Ace will have no issue with being here imo.

agree 100%. the biggest thing ace is guilty of is trusting the wrong adult(s). it's actually sorta sad.

i wish the jazz could get him without omar (and maybe they can/have/will) and really talk some sense into him. sit him down and explain in simple terms how this all works, how it benefits him to get his *** in here, and why utah isn't this horrible place so many who know nothing about it think it is.

Omar thinks he's Stringer Bell, but he's actually the dude taking notes on the criminal ****ing conspiracy.
Stringer Bell was a great acting job by Idris Elba. I knew when I saw him in the wire that he was going to have a great career.

I think it will be good for Ace when he gets here this weekend and is in a Jazz environment for a bit. Some responsible adults from the front office and coaching staff around him as well as some teammates to connect with. Out of his 'agent's' dirty little schemes into the clean, open Jazz organisation.

no question. if they can just get him here, everything will start looking up.

Am I the only one who thinks a vast majority of this is just fabricated drama with maybe a little sprinkle of truth to it?
It's definitely real, but I think it ultimately culminates to nothing.

That being said, I am anticipating some crazy story or news to be dropped between now and Monday
