The NBA can't and shouldn't stop players who take way less money to win. A hard cap wouldn't stop this.

The warriors are over the cap. They are given up to 5 mill to sign an additional player. If they had a real hard cap the warriors roster wouldn't exist.

They really need to do like hockey. When a player signs with a new team, they have to give up draft picks. It could only really work with restricted players probably, but this is ridiculous.
