I remember this teams chemistry used to be amazing. Donovan always with the water bottle and even on the benches they liked each other.

Last year it just seemed like they hated being around each other. It all stems from Donovan and Rudy being immature imo.

It wasnt an off the court/liking each other issue though. Like I dont think Rudy/Don have a personal beef or anything. It's all on court issues.

Which are things that require trust and belief in your teammates.

I think the off court pettiness didn’t help anything but you could tell the team went through the motions at times and have lackluster effort on top of selfish play.

So, what the hell happened between having the best record to only being a 6th seed? You don’t get the best record by having a dysfunctional roster.

I don’t think Rudy has ever been a popular guy in the locker room. I sensed this and Locke hinted at this many times.

They do and future draft picks don’t help you win immediately. Why do you think both teams suck?

What helps you win is having players like Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert on your team.

Question is “Did they” have the kind of quality assets at the start of the rebuild that the Jazz have, not “do they” have them now, years later. Obviously more assets early in rebuilt is a factor that could help a team getting better faster, if they want to. Not sure how you are missing this point, it’s pretty obvious.

And Obviously future picks don’t help teams win today, kinda the point of the rebuild. Misses the point of the optionslity of parlaying picks to accelerate the process.
