Im sure the Jazz FO is telling people exactly who they like and arent lying or trying to hide stuff at all.

The Jazz leaked that they wanted Cody Williams almost instantly last year and their infatuation with Keyonte George was pretty well known by a lot of people a week before the draft. Ainge leaks constantly.

Not sure if Givony knows right now what the Jazz want though.

Just seems like you are operating off confirmation bias and ignoring all the players we heard about the Jazz liking who they didnt draft.

I wouldn’t take too much stock in early mock drafts. Here is one from Givony at this same time last year.

Another way of looking at this is that they correctly identified 12 of the top 14 in a historically flat draft.

Right, but if you want to evaluate mock drafts, you have to wait several years. And when you do, you often see they weren't too good (except for the obvious cases at the top)..

This just isn’t true. Nobody was predicting Keyonte to the Jazz besides someone who had an in with Keyonte’s people. So it was them leaking it not the Jazz.

It was reported Cody Williams had a great workout with the Jazz but he wasn’t expected to last until 10 by most pundits.

The difference between Ace/Tre/VJ and guys from the bottom half of the lottery is definitely way less than the difference between them and Harper/Cooper. Wouldn't be surprised to see us trade down and take a chance on guys like Fleming or Essengue, who has zero chance of falling to 21.

Kind of going in circles, but the stat gaps between the prospects at 5 are so massive that it's going to be interesting to see what direction the Jazz go in

Bad stats: Tre, Ace
