Does Kanter show Jazz made mistake in these playoffs ......

he was +6

agreed -- +6 with Kanter on, +18 with Kanter off. No indication that Kanter hurt them while on the floor last night.

But how much did Kanter's 1 point and 2 rebounds contribute to the +6? It was all about Ibaka (+24), Durant (+22), Westbrook (+26), Roberson (+25), and Waiters (+24).

Net rating doesn't mean jack****. Eye test means. If you have common sense, you can see that Enes is a loser on defense. But he picked up his game very nicely in the playoffs. So he hurts them less on defense. but there are nearly no plays that center him so he does not produce much on offense. He just cleans boards and converts them. So net rating does not show how he is doing. I think playing him as little as possible was a good move against GSW. They play small ball and this means Kanter will hurt you on D. But if you put him on against the Cavs, he can perform a lot better.

By the way, just so you know...... adams is averaging 29 minutes per game this series, ibaka is averaging 32 minutes per game, kanter is averaging 15 minutes per game. And remember that this series has had quite a few games that were not very close (blowouts) and usually in those types of games the starters sit more and the bench plays more. Also adams has been banged up in this series and even taken out of games due to injury.... yet he is still right at the 30 minute mark and kanter still chillin on the bench.

Oh and with kanter playing so little the thunder look better than ever.
17 million dollars.

Adams been playing close to 40 mins before GS series, and he was already playing more minutes than Kanter, of course if his minutes reduced Kanters will be reduced even more, they are winning with small ball lineup against GS, they managed to pass the Spurs with their Bigs and Kanter was one of the main reasons they passed spurs, Pretty sure OKC happy with the 17 mil they are paying to Kanter and their succes with him.

Lets see if Kanter can win a championship before the entire Jazz franchise ;)

Are you really that retarded ? thats maybe bcuz he only played 8 mins ? do you think before u post ? " with Kanter +6 without him +18 " ahahahah Jazzfans are really funny, you made a good point thanks :D :D

Enjoy the lottery and watch Kanter win a championship before the entire Jazz franchise losers hahah

he was +6 , Adams doesnt play much either in this series, they are using mostly small ball lineup against GS.

OKC's coach is smart, hes using different lineups against different opponents

I hope you are trolling, makes wonder if you are actually watching the games. Both Ibaka and Adams are having big contributions in the series, we cannot say the same about Kanter...actually, he was awful the last game. +6? Again, you must interpret the stat correctly as it could be greatly misleading. You can have a '+' plus-minus despite playing terrible bball. For instance, if you happen to be in scoring run pushed by your teammates. The opposite could also happen, a '-' plus-minus while playing great defense and offense but you might be stuck with a second unit full of scrubs. Plus-minus is a tricky indicator influenced by team play and shouldn't be used lightly to highlight/criticize individual play, especially with a small sample size and no play to actually support your argument. BTW, 9 min is not the ideal contribution you expect from a Max player but Donovan is smart as you said and he realizes he shouldn't play Kanter more minutes than Adams or Ibaka.

Do you have a problem with reading bro ? or are you just a jazzfan ? When did i say Kanter playing more minutes than Adams or ibaka ? or did i say Adams and Ibaka wasnt efficient in this series ? Please try to read before you post . Also i know plus-minus not a trustful stat, but ppl love to use it against Kanter especially if its minus for him, if he had a high scoring game ppl like " hey he got his points but he had negative minus-plus" , when he got positive minus-plus ppl like " Hey he got only 2 points its doesnt matter " The jazzfans are really funny with this blind hate :D

If Golden State is smart, they will ISO attack Kanter every possession for the few minutes he ends up playing in game 5. That alone might be enough for them to pull off a win.

The point that you obviously missed is that Kanter's plus/minus was actually good last night and he did not hurt the team in the few minutes he played (statistics remedial hint: look at +/- per minute -- this requires an advanced algorithm called "division"). I'll actually spelled this out when I drafted the post but then deleted it, not wanting to insult people with obvious explanations. But then you showed up.

Next time I'll keep you in mind and provide remedial explanations. Yeah well, every place has an angry buffoon, good for entertainment purposes if nothing else.

Good day to you, little man.

You didn't mention his rebound and points when he had negative net rating but all of a sudden when he has positive net rating that stat doesnt matter but his rebounding and points do? Textbook confirmation bias.
