Don’t ever change homey. . .For all the Podz love, his NBA stats rival Frank Jackson or Juzang. He averaged 1.4 ppg at Illinois.

Point blank if the Warriors want Lauri they have to completely abandon the "two timelines" dream Lacob wanted. They will have to deal Kuminga to a 3rd team to supply Utah to make the deal worth their while also giving themselves enough pieces that fit together to win now.I'm not perfectly sure do everyone here or around the league perfectly grasp in what Lauri could do with someone like Curry, even post peak Curry whose shooting and IQ are still otherworldly. His shot release being the fast it is and hight it is combined to his cutting skills and finishing at the rim. If Mike Conley with average three point shooting with much less volume than Steph drove Lauri to 26ppg... Yeah, we're talking about potential 30ppg season. GSW has to realize this and go all in.

No idea if that is possible, but it's on the Warriors to find that deal.
Yet they still seem to want to toe that line. Which is fine. They can be a play-in team for the next few years while they hope Podz/Kuminga take such big leaps while Steph is still a top 20 guy so they can win a playoff series or two all while crossing their fingers Draymond doesnt get suspended for fighting Gobert again. That dream was ruined when they drafted Wiseman.
IMO if the Warriors decide to trade for Lauri, this would mean that they are trying hard to compete. Thus... anyone they consider important part of their rotation they will try to keep. Podz was their 5th highest MPG player last year and he was a rookie. With Klay gone, this will open even more opportunities for him and they will need him even more than last year. Kuminga is in a similar spot(in fact he played just barely less minutes per game than Podz). IMO the Warriors will consider both of them key to their contention and they will try hard to keep both of them. Kind of like Minny offered even more picks so they can keep McDaniels.
With that said... if there is an offer we accept, I can see it being like... ALL of their picks + Moody + filler...
Just my 2 cent...
Holy **** this has to be one of the dumbest things you've said in a minute.I'm not that interested in Moody, tbh. He's better defensively than Brice, but I'd rather have Brice's shooting on the floor than Moody.

I wont say I for sure know Moody is it, but he is far far better than Brice and can actually contribute on a NBA court and not get blown by or turn it over every other possession.I believe in Brice's shooting, and Moody isn't it.
They would need an absolute commitment from Lauri he re-ups with them either r/e or during FA. As much as I want to squeeze the Dubs for everything, they would be insane to pay Ainge's price without that assurance.I'm not perfectly sure do everyone here or around the league grasp in what Lauri could do with someone like Curry, even post peak Curry whose shooting and IQ are still otherworldly. No.......but now, maybeWas this intentional
I actually agree. I think they are more likely to want to include Kuminga than Podz. Both for financial reasons but also since they are getting Lauri, this adds more competition for minutes at his position, rather than at Podz' ... In other words - if they trade for Lauri, they will need Podz more than they would need Kuminga, IMO.

Moody can shoot just as well. Maybe he can't create as well, but he is equal or better as a shooterJazz like guys who can shoot. Brice can shoot. If he's on the floor with Hendricks and Kessler, his iffy defense shouldn't matter too much. He held his ground last year pretty well.
