Does Lauri Get Dealt Before The Season Starts?

I'm just going to assume Lauri asked not to be part of a rebuild and this is happening one way or another, so that I can get behind it, since I'd rather have the player as things stand now. And if we are doing a Dubs package why aren't we talking about Podz?

Hope the return is great, next years Jazz team is gonna be... something. Hope Sexton is a good babysitter.
 
It's hard to imagine the Jazz settling for such an underwhelming package directly after what Bridges went for.

I can’t see WAS being so stubborn that they do not do themselves a favor. They will take a pick that’s better than 21-30 protected and be happy. In a scenario where this is in play, the Jazz would essentially be trading one pick for two.

Bigger question is if GSW is even willing to put up not 29/31 unprotected to begin with. I’m sure they’ll be trying to get the deal done without both.

They can kick rocks then at that point. Those are the most valuable assets they own. I’m not gifting them Lauri. Make them give us everything.

Say you are the Wizards... you own a top 20 protected pick in 2030 that will turn into a second if it doesn't convey. Someone comes to you and offers 2-3 seconds that you like better... do you say no to something that is better for you because you think you have a team by the balls? Especially when the teams can work around by simply changing the picks and swaps around... fine... we will take picks in 26/28/31 with swap rights in 25/27/29/30 or 31 if we have to.
