Does Lauri Get Dealt Before The Season Starts?

When factoring in how bad we could possibly be I think you also have to factor in our unique home court advantage as well. We have a better roster than 6 or 7 teams and a unique advantage… article have been written about it… whether it’s the altitude, stars sitting because of how the schedule sets up, or rabid fans… whatever it is… we consistently outperform at home. Sometimes the difference between 5th place and 9th place is 4 wins… sometimes 10… but with Lauri, Sexton, Kessler, HC advantage, we have higher base than many of the teams we are discussing. Playing in the west is helpful… but if we aren’t going to be play in worthy… which we won’t… go ahead and make sure you are maximizing your odds. If it really is a sellers market then maybe Sexton and Kessler are at their peak value. There’s zero reason to play with fire.
 
There is no chance we win 30 games with the current roster. Last season our top 5 in net rating (min 10 games) were:

Lauri +0.6
Dunn +0.4
Tech -0.5
Juzang -1.8
KO -3.1

KO and Tech numbers are a bit inflated compared to others as they only played in the better pre-DL version of the team.

However now Dunn is also gone, and our roster is so full of young guys that they cant really even add vets who could contribute to winning, unless they trade some kids away.
 
i get attached to players, and with them changing all the time, i am losing my attatchment to the team. there is no consitency. my fandom is dying.

The consistency will come once the FO finds its next #1 guy. Before that, they are gonna be churning through guys to find him.

Eh they have a few roster spots open don't they? They could still add vets and play Sexton, Lauri, eubanks, Collins, Clarkson, juzang and future vet big minutes and make the kids mostly ride pine.

Key, TH, Brice, Cody, Flip, Collier, Lofton, Juzang (QO already sent) is 8 roster spots gone.

Lauri, Sexton, Collins, JC, Eubanks, Kessler is 6 more.

So only one spot left, and Preston, Bazley, Lewis, Samanic and THT not yet accounted for from last year roster. Potter already counted out.

I think Preston is someone to keep if he is eligible for a two way. THT and Luka are likely out. Dont know if they like Bazley or Lewis enough.

Preston is accounted for. He is on the same 2 way deal he signed back on January
