errr... Enes sucked last night.
jefferson sucks every night
errr... Enes sucked last night.
i bet you he would score more than 17 points on 15 fga.His shooting rate will fall down if he plays as much as Al. And he will turn the ball too much & get blocked. The minor minutes he gets on the floor are filled with high percentage mid range jumpers because the opposition does not usually defend him there. If he was a starter, he would have to deal with the intense defense coming from the opposition which would definitely be a problem since we know Enes sucks against double team.
You see the problem with his minutes is that he has so little experience on court that the only way you could turn him into a real 3rd pick caliber player is to give him minutes regardless of his performance. Utah might not be the team for that. So tough luck for him.

Kanter should be getting more damn playing time because his limited minutes suggests he should.
Al should get fewer minutes because his limited defense suggests he should.
It's not that damn hard.
It wasn't an insult. That you still don't understand that is confounding. Since it's not your lack of lingual comprehension anymore, it's now a different reason you're still hung up about this. I'll let you break that down, I wouldn't want to ever be mean on the internet. Or worse, make a joke that is above people's heads.I've forgotten more than you know about English. So in my haste I left out a preposition, who cares. It's people like you that are the problem on this site. You're only here to insult others -- 9,000 posts, what else do you with your life? I don't understand why the mods and Jason allow people like you to continue to post here, especially when you constantly violate the rules. You ruin the site.
Oh, so this is supposed to be sarcasm -- just went back and read some of the other comments I had missed. Well, for one, people, or at least most people aren't on here to analyze the insults. We don't have time for this nonsense. Apparently, you don't have a job so you read every word on here.
That's what she said.
Thats alot of speculation
Actually, it is what is shown constantly throughout the league
So we should just assume that if kanter got more minutes then he would suck?
Actually i would rather go by how he (and the team) has done when al was out of the lineup and Kanter DID play big minutes against starters.... looked good to me.
Not suck. But he would definitely be less efficient.
Maybe.
definitely.
definitely.
You are right, no player in the history of the nba has gotten more comfortable with more playing time and actually improved.
Basically what coaches should do with your logic is play all 13 players on the team the minimum amount of time and that way they would all be more efficient right? Cause once they play more minutes, thier efficiency automatically gets worse.
Oh, I'm sure there's a few that have. But they are far outnumbered by the majority.
Millsap was more efficient offensively backing up Boozer in his final year, then when he took the starting reigns from Booz. Not to mention Millsap's defense was 10x better as he could play his heart out, and not have to worry about picking up too many fouls or carrying the offensive load.
Monta Ellis was far more efficient playing limited minutes. Once he got big minutes from GSW, he started taking more and more shots and his efficiency took a nose dive.
More minutes means more shots means lower FG% means less efficiency. This is why per36 doesn't scale, at all. The only thing it is useful for is comparing players who are playing similar minutes.
Please give this argument to Zach Lowe of Grantland.
And then, he will return by telling you all about Omer Asik, and James Harden. Two players THIS SEASON that have maintained their production in increased roles.
Let alone all of these increased role assignments that happen on an annual basis. Sorry LW, I am a Corbin fan, and Al fan, but you're wrong here.
Players generally have a learning curve during their first few years, so naturally their per36 goes up as they get comfortable and transition into their prime. Mins and eFG% goes up as well each year. It's really quite common. This is why per36 doesn't scale, at all. The only thing it is useful for is comparing players who are playing similar minutes.
This. Not suck. But he would definitely be less efficient.
And this.PS: Kanter is a second year project. His time will come. What I say has nothing to do with being a Corbin or Al "fan"
