Either way, I agree that we can't afford Favors if he regains form. Which I hope he does.
Yes, the best thing to hope for is he regains his health. And I'll wish him the best as long as he is here, just as with any Jazz player. He's been a complete pro -- one of my favorite guys.
I think all is his agent is saying today is that as things look now, it's easiest to see a path for Favors to stay long-term if Hayward's salary increase isn't on the books. Totally true as things look now, but you never know how things can change before the Jazz (have to) make a decision.
But don't know why he's talking contracts now in the press. Not sure it helps anyone.
