What's new

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody is there, did it make a sound? This is that example. We could say he never would have been good then because we didn’t have him. But now he’s good because we can actually see it and we had the genius to bring him in.

My favorite was when we figured out we just barely went into the tax because of some bad math and people were saying there was no way professionals would do that lol.

Random thoughts...

- Juan Toscano-Anderson is terrible. The guy literally brings nothing to the table. He sometimes looked decent at GS when playing with Hall of Famers who got all the defensive attention, but now he's almost 30 and his utter lack of ball skills or shooting is getting exposed. Just get this dude TF out of here, he's a waste of space.

- That brings to mind that I love our current "youth movement". Receiving rotation minutes are:

Gay (36)
Clarkson (30)
Olynyk (32 in April)
Dunn (29 in a few weeks)
Toscano-Anderson (30 in April)
Fontecchio (27)

None of these guys are future pieces. With the occasional exception of Clarkson, none of them are helping us win now either. And since we seemingly can't/won't tank... what are we doing? It's absolutely hilarious to me that we actually traded away youth and brought in some old dudes who are fighting for their last NBA contracts in the margins of the League. Man... Ainge really needs to work his magic in the draft this time. I didn't like Lauri's body language when he was watching the Dunn/THT dribbling exchibition. This is the type of stuff that will plant the seeds of "Do I see myself playing with dudes like this 3 years from now?" in his head.

- Everyone loves Kessler's rim protection (and they should), but right now he has a very definite Achilles heel on defense - bigs who can shoot from the perimeter. Teams are trying to make him choose between sitting in the hole and contesting on the perimeter, and so far he's choosing the former like clockwork. That's something Walker needs to get better at - there's SO many centers who can make open 3's these days. As fun as it is to watch Kessler send layups to the 10th row, you just can't keep giving up free 3pt shots in this league.

- Dunn has some balls. Guy comes in on a 10 day deal and immediately acts like he owns the team. Would love to know what the rest of the players think about his act behind closed doors. Never seen a dude who's a marginal NBA player come in and call his own number this much.

29 is not old in the nba JTA on the other hand should be waived when sexton comes back has he even scored a single point ?

I like the 2nd half execution and defense. Seems like we play abit faster with tht or Dunn at PG instead of Conley. Mike is great but sometimes too deliberate in setting up plays to the point that it's easy to read and react.

I like the top of the key play when ko holds the ball while lauri and jc screens for each other. One pops out while the other cuts to he rim. Lauri was fouled on that dunk. It confuses the defense. They did it twice

Bet they love him. Coming in when the team is struggling and being the main cog in righting the ship and onto an eventual win. Players like winning and Dunn was key in that win.

We need to sign Coby White this offseason… go get chandler Hutchison right now… gonna win the title next year.
