Following potential 2013 draftees

I hated Young when he was being mocked lottery (Cy was pimping) but I LOVE him in the 40s.

interesting... i really liked him during the college season, i like a few 2nd round guys i woudlent say i love him, but he reminds me of a 2nd rounder that didnt get drafted that i loved... Patrick Beverly

can i ask where u think Archie has fallen to? gotta say to me thats the saddest story leading up to this draft, i hope someone takes him in the 1st.. im not sure he fits the jazz better than Young though... Archie needs space and time to do his thing... Young is kind of the opposite, in my eyes, very straightfoward triple threat/fastbreak player

I'd rather be seen as that than someone who says "call me crazy for being less than thrilled that the Jazz might draft what would be arguably the smallest player in the NBA with their first pick" and everyone thinks I just said "LARKIN TOTALLY SUCKS AND WILL TOTALLY BUST. I KNOW THIS. WRITE IT IN STONE. ALSO, SIZE IS THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS, DRAFT SARIC.".

Yea, I'd hate to say that too.

I think Archie has slid into the early 2nd.

Yeah, I loved Beverly..

I wouldn't want Larkin at 14 but would be ok with him at 21 even though I think that is high. I would be ok with Glenn Rice Jr. at 21 too. Again this draft is going to be interesting simply because there isn't much difference between the players. This is a draft that I would like a lower first or early second. I would also consider Reggie Bullock at 21.

Excellent post.

best case scenario on larkin is a smaller Tinsley with elite athleticism, and more consistent 3point and midrange game. he is not an isaiah thomas meglomaniac, team first player. i like larkins chances wherever he lands, one of the best spots for him obviously is the jazz.

if you observe the whole body of Larkins work, he clearly plays UP to the competition, i bet hes working out like a maniac right now if his vertical is 44"

and hes a winner, no fear, plus he is not a look at me guy, his SG Durand Scott was the conferences leading scorer and took tons of ****s, larkin was efficent in the system so theres risk, but he really worked well with Kenny Kadji, i think the jazzhave him on the radar at 14, with good reason

how do you guys compare Larkin to the 2 PGs Lindsey was a part of drafting for the spurs

Patty Mills + Corey Joseph

i like joseph better but thats size+youth over polish, to me Larkin is clearly better than Mills, who i like

St. Patrick & Findlay Prep in a duel of the PG's Kyrie Irving 30 pts vs Cory Joseph 23pts 10 rebs. Also Duke recruit), #1 Jr. Michael Gilchrist 18pts 3blks 9rebs
