as someone whos an ex knicks fan who used to frequent the draft thread (i wanted brook lopez over gallinari)
gallinari turned out to be a much better shooter than all the pundits predicted, some were saying he was a playmaker and questioning his jumpshot
the knicks got him in summer league and said he shoots better than we thought, gallinari is also a clutch shooter, hes top 10 worthy, saric in my eyes is not but hes not that far off, if we take him at 21 its good value and upside, remember hes young too, with professional exp

You didn't misunderstand but you went with Plumlee cause he would have been the bpa. Bazz was still on the board and you are one of few that still believe in him at any pick past 5. I wasn't trying to fool anyone. I was just pointing out that both suck and that people don't know who the Jazz really like.
Intriguing. I've watched 4 games that he didn't do much but I could see something there.. I have him around 30.

I've been on the record saying that college basketball is borderline unwatchable for me. I'm catching up like most people. I am not an expert.
Back to size and how it effects defense, I am a Millsap fan, but not even I would say that he wasn't overmatched because of his lack of size at times. If Larkin is being shot over (by the smallest guy on the opposing team), what is he (or the team) supposed to do out there? Avoiding exploitable weaknesses is as important to me in team-building as anything else, and I'd rather not have to try hide anybody (especially a guy that might not be hide-able).
But we'll see. I don't like Larkin at 14.

do you take into account the "bloodlines" or having an advantageous support system, with a pro athlete close in the family, or is that overrated?
like is it worth just alittle more, ie lefty pitching vs righty pitching.
ive followed a few "JR" prospects, some really out preform but some are clearly not as good as billed, i overrated ronnie brewer jr because of the professional heritage(and because he plays defense). but i think a player like darren collison is a good contrast to that
also i really like Timmy Jr, he seems to be gaining some steam here late in the process, i dont mind him at 21..

I like lefties.
I put no stock in bloodlines.
