Following potential 2013 draftees

Sure, sure.

We really need to include Marcus Smart in the PG discussion, though. Great size, explosion, BBIQ, and competitiveness. 14 PPG, 6 RPG, 5 APG, 3 SPG, 1 BPG as a freshman is pretty damn good.

He'll be playing on ESPN2 Saturday at 1 PM MST.
Smart is a SG.

Kabongo is out of our range, brah.

I'm assuming you mean our first picks are too good and our 2nd not good enough??

Kabongo is likely LATE first / early 2nd..

I was down on Kabongo way back to the first pages of the 2012 draft thread (when he was being listed as a top 10 player), but if he's taken around 30, I like him quite a bit .. make sense?

Kabongo will be taken with the #.5 pick in the draft, dude.

Ford and DX both seem to think he's proving to be a PG.

Interesting. I wonder if it's the;

- 2.8 asts per game
- 3 to's per game

I think it's more because he's too short and doesn't shoot it well enough to be a SG.

(sorry for the smugness, I'm speaking somewhat in jest, and I don't see him as a successful PG.)

Napier is a pretty decent college guy .. mid 2nd rounder, imo. It's more of an anomaly, in other words.

Well, he has a pretty nice stroke and he has nice range. I'd imagine that would translate well... unless he just had an in ordinarily good shooting game.
