Leonard didn't really slide. He was projected all over the place the entire process. That's besides that he didn't have as good of a year as Oladipo and didn't play anywhere as good of competition. He was also labeled a player that had no particular strengths, including being labeled a potential tweener without a reliable jumpshot.

I think it will have more to do with perceived upside. I can't imagine Oladipo going before Shabazz, Porter, McLemore, or Smart. DX has him over Shabazz and Porter right now.
 
Further to what Numbs said.. players don't necessarily rise or slide as much as how we sometimes perceive them to have done so.. based on mock drafts that are put together by people either guessing or being lied to or both. The mocks are but one tiny gauge as to a players value to the league.
