Following potential 2013 draftees

Well the thing is though, he Schroeder went head to head against Kasey Hill who some of us had a hard-on over (including me and AlexBurks_PGgods, amongst others). Schroeder is slightly older, but he completely outplayed Hill in this game IMO. Physically Schroeder had a bigger frame, was better defensively, controls the game better and was just more mature out there on the court. They both had pretty similar speed & quickness though it seems. But Hill was quite a bit smaller... I would say Schroeder held his own against Andrew Harrison as well.

Now, Hill is a projected lotto pick next year if I'm not mistaken in a loaded draft? So if we can get Schroeder at #14 in this much weaker draft I think it would be a bargain. Granted, we're taking on a bit of a project, but early signs are there that he could be a legit talent.

Remember that one game Patty Mills had over CP3?

No, that is not what I was getting at.

This situation reminds me of POGS back in the day. I saw them one day, wanted them and the spent the next 6 months of my life trying to get more and more POGS to the point that I made my own.

Today POGS are a fun memory but didn't do anything for my life.

I took a page out of Hottie hot hot's book.

Good effort! But you can still do better. Keep improving. Each day is a new dawn, is a new day. I'll be rooting for you.

Your comparison of Schroeder to Bongo is noted.

I'd like to add though that Schroeder is nearly 2 years younger and quite a bit quicker & faster (as far as I can tell anyway). His change of speed is already better than Bongo was before he got injured. Most of all though, I've also been impressed by Schroeder's maturity and leadership skill. If you saw the game, he was running his team out there yesterday. He wasn't just dishing out assists and making shots. He was orchestrating his team, controlling the pace/tempo of the game - which is something Burke got much better on in his Soph. year.

16 months older. Closer to a year if we are rounding.

Kabongo is alos a much better finisher around the rim, and has a left hand. We really want someone who can't shoot or finish? At least Bongo has one of those things. Not to mention he shoots 80% from the FT line.

What ****ing math class did you learn that in?

Probably kindergarten?

18 months would be 1.5 years, and you would round up to two.

16 months would be 1.33, so you round down to 1.

*Couldn't tell if you were disagreeing with me, or being sarcastic*

Well Schroeder is 84% at the FT this year through 33 games, and 40% on 3pt (on 41-102 shooting).

Like I said yesterday, only if I'm confident that his shooting is legit - I'd take him at #14.

The left hand thing I've been told can be corrected.

Where you get #'s?

Kabongo: 01/12/1992
Schroeder: 09/15/1993

By my calculation, that's 12 + 8 = 20 months? Where do you get your 16 months from?

Never-mind, I found his updated stats.

He does seem to be a very good FT shooter.

Any Euro's know the level of competition his league is?
