Following potential 2013 draftees

I like Withey at 21..
I would LOVE CJ at 14.. but not happenin.

I get the feeling we might be surprised at who is sitting there at 14. Someone might reach a little on Archie on hopes for his potential or some player we all had pegged in the top ten might slip. 10-20 is kind of a crap shoot .

The Baylor guys are proof of this.

One thing that would really help the Jazz would be a SF who rebounds. Hayward slacks on the boards quite often. Having a big SF that boards would help make the Jazz a dominant rebounding team.

Players have to decide on every play whether they are going to play in transition (start it or stop it) or rebound. Hayward chooses transition. Kanter's rebounding took a noticeable hit from last year for the same reason.

Isn't Gobert like 210 lbs and 7+? McGee was and is a freak of nature. From what I understand Gobert is more like a shawn bradley type athlete. Thin, tall and coordinated.

No a huge fan of Olynyk but he can shoot.

Gobert is 7'1 with a wingspan of 7'9! Insane!

That French guy Livio Jean-Charles rebounded pretty well at Nike Hoop Summit, but that's a sample of 1. Plus, he doesn't really have SF skills, though he's listed as a combo forward. Maybe we keep DeMarre Carroll and tell him to do that.

Ok hypothetical question. To change it up a little.

Zeller, he's droped quite a bit, so you know it's possible he could drop a lot more come draft day as teams could decide to go with the potential high risk high reward guys. So if fe falls some more to say our 14 pick do we snatch him up?

He is taller and longer than even McGee. Not quite as athletic, but he can move for sure. Not sure of the competition level but his stats are impressive in France.

8.2ppg/5.2rpg/1.8bpg in 22 minutes. 74% FG, 70% FT shooter which is big, most freaks can't shoot them. He is a project no doubt, but a 7'9" wingspan and standing reach that may be as high as 9'8" are incredible tools. Having said that, very slim chance he's there at 14.

Zeller at 14? Yeah, I think we'd have to take that. He's not real physical, but he's skilled and athletic. He'll make plays and be a big presence as a 3rd big.

Sorry, I have kept up on things here, but what's everyone's opinion on Tony Mitchell? Why no love for him? He has the look and athleticism of an NBA player. I just haven't seen much of him. Him at 21 might not be bad there

Edit: Maybe not. He doesn't sound very motivated. He looks like he could be a bad *** though.

some are putting him early second.

Whitney or Archie with 14, Larkin with 21, and Tim Hardaway Junior with the second round pick. That's what I'm hoping for so far. Could change after measurements and workouts.
