If Boston wants to move up and says it's for Turner, they probably have another move in mind. Ainge is a poker player and wouldn't reveal the target. He'd probably swing a deal involving a future pick + the trade-up pick for #4 from the Knicks.
 
ok let me give my 2 cents

first kaminsky is a douche and should just focus on winning the triple crown. my dislike of him is almost to tomic level.

second players that have never lived here (in Utah) don't know what it is like. players that have usually go away with nothing negative to say. dwill still has a home here and wants his children raised in Utah. I bet Trevor booker would say positive things about Utah.

3rd if Houston came to Utah with that offer the jazz would take it but I think Houston would want more from the jazz.

4th the jazz should never get in a bidding war with Houston the only winner would be the team who ends up with the trades.

I think Turner and oubre are the guys that the jazz are most hoping to be there. And in that order (Of the likely guys)

All those guys are in tier 4 according to Chad Ford, along with all the others we worked out. It's all open to interpretation depending on who you ask.

If I were Charlotte, I'd take Oubre. He can shoot, plus he'll be able to get his shot off better than Booker.

Turner apparently outplayed Kaminsky in their head-to-head workout.

Johnson is rumored to be going to Miami.

Jazz could get stuck pondering Dekker vs. Looney, not that this is a bad thing. They could also take Booker.

What could 12 + their 2 second round picks get? Could that get them to 9? I'm fine including a future first too.


Rumor is both Sacramento and Detroit considering trading their picks. That's 6th or 8th. ...hmm.... leapfrog only to get leapfrogged again.
 
As has been said by many, there are a lot of players to like in this draft. I didn't have any favorites. But as the date approaches I find myself pining for Turner more than anyone. Guess I have a favorite now.

I'd say the Jazz are going to value the Euros more than many teams and have assets to leverage. I think the Jazz could move to 9, to 8 or even higher if they want it enough.

I'm hearing some buzz that Cousins wants the Kings to take WCS. That's interesting given that Hezonja or Mudiay could be there.

Yet they drafted both Exum and Hood last year, who refused to work out with the Jazz and traded up for Burke the previous year who also didn't work out for the team... The team doesn't care if they want to work out for the team, if they think the player is the best one on the board they will draft him.
