Following potential 2015 draftees

My tiers look like this....

First Tier: Towns, Russell

Second: Okafor, Mudiay, Hezonja

Third: Winslow, Porzingis, WCS

Fourth: Oubre, Turner, Johnson, maybe Dunn (not sure)

Fifth: Poeltl, Kaminsky, Portis, Lyles, Looney

We're assured of getting someone in the 4th tier.

I don't have a link, but a guy in Chad Ford's timeline who is a Heat writer said a league official told him the flip is on Friday... I'd look it up but I'm lazy.

The Kings are under pressure to make Cousins happy and might be willing trade #6 for the right deal. That would be Hezonja or Porzingis. I don't have a source on this, just chatter from fans.

We have #11 or 12, Tomic/Pleiss, a future pick and a player.

Just not sure what we need outside of a quality PG. We have our 3 bigs with the 4th on the way. Guess a stretch in training might fit. We have our 3 wings with Jingles and Millsap as 4th and 5th. A combo forward might fit - could use some size behind Hayward. And I doubt DL will draft a PG. I think the pick will be traded. A good gamble would be to a perennially crappy team for a future 1st with only top-3 protection.

Keeping Trey is a tough decision. Going forward the backup PG spot needs to produce at a higher more consistent level. I think Jerian Grant could be the guy.

I'm not too worried about backup PG. I think that will be easy enough to fill in FA after next year if Burke doesn't improve. They also have the possibility of Neto or Cotton might emerge. With Hood, Burks, Hayward at the wing, PG won't demand the ball as much.

Trading a lottery pick for a future 1st is always a risky proposition IMO.

Unless it's with CHA, and even that has some risks.

Sure, but I just don't see a player at #11/12 to get excited about. If forced to pick, I guess Dekker or Looney might be a good fit. But it might be more valuable to have a couple of 1sts in a future draft. Then Utah might be able to really move up.
