I was listening to one of Locke's podcasts from this week and he mentioned that the 11-15 draft position has the least amount of all stars and rotation players, which was news to me. The reason makes sense, since the people from 11-15 are in the tier below the more "sure things," so teams try to go for home run high upside picks and miss. Therefore, people who are drafted 15 and below have more of a chance to be starters and rotation players.
Here are the people in that group that I think have good, long careers: Portis, Grant, Looney (projected 20 by DX), RHJ, McCullough, Wright.
Also, generally 2 people in the top 10 bust. This may make me look stupid later, but I think Winslow is going to bust. He played best at Duke as a small-ball 4, and I don't think he is big enough for that in the NBA, and depending on what team he goes to he probably won't play the 4 much. I also think his high 3pt% is probably flukey, and if it is, that is big time trouble for him. His mechanics look off and his free throw shooting is poor, and I don't think he can shoot off the dribble. I think he bullies his way inside and he won't be able to do that at the next level. Disclaimer: I'm a bit biased against Duke players
I don't necessarily think D'Angelo Russell will bust, but I don't think he will be an elite 3 point shooter in the NBA, and I worry about his defense and athleticism. I guess I'm not nearly as high on him as others are. I definitely wouldn't trade Favors for him.
