Following potential 2017 draftees...

No. Fox would be a slightly better prospect if he were built like predraft John Wall. Probably predraft Westbrook too..

On Russy's DX page it says

best case - Leandro Barbosa
worst case - Shannon Brown

lol

I said size, didn't I? Isn't he like 6'4 with a 6'9 wingspan off the top of my head?

Lol. Of course PG came back after all of this. Never fails.

I did think you could last a little longer away from here little buddy! Maybe someday you'll follow through on your promises.
Were you going too add to the discussion or is this gibberish all you're bringing to the table?

Had your hopes up? Good. I come and go as I please, as always. When I finally do blow this popsicle stand it'll be final, maybe.

There will be no warning or explanation; just silence from my end, while the mindless-chatter, squabbles and petty differences that define Jazzfanz continue.

Y'all should thank me for my posts here anyway, I play the role of King Kong swatting down paper-airplane-thin opinions casted by posters who obviously pay very little attention to the amateur basketball scene (and yet still try to hold dominion over the conversation).

I've certainly learned a lesson in my time here which is; that unequivocally you should be inauthentic guarded and conniving to people. I've always associated many of these behaviors with being a sociopath but as I age I've come to realize this behavior is seen more as some sort of defense mechanism/survival instinct and is actually seen as behavior of a responsible adult (Sorta like how getting drunk and driving home is how many "responsible adults" have fun).. The whole concept is very foreign to me because I always pulled chicks and acheived things being myself, thats simply not the reality for most tho, that's how i believe en masse these common, fairly obsolete, behaviors come to pass.. They're concessions of the weak...

A lesson that can be summed up in this 20-minute TED talk;

Possibly I'll return for self-amusement to talk **** and drop one-liners and point out the wasted opportunities of the F/O, but not for any actual interaction with the few posters(portraying several posters) here on JFC.... I didn't come here to make friends and I'm not gonna miss anyone when I'm gone, I joined for some topical banter and to gain perspective, which I've achieved long ago. My days here are numbered, I've already outlined how I'm gonna process of eliminate down to a new team, definitely wont be sharing that here tho. I'll be going to root for a mystery team as far as JFC is concerned. My legend will certainly live on here anyways.

I'm out for real this time, the big difference being I no longer consider myself a jazz fan anymore. This seasons team is most certainly a lame ****ing duck, just re-watch the last few games... I've seen 95% of the games since Kanter's rookie year but I'm most certainly finished

Normally I would say “Auf wiedersehen,” but since what “auf wiedersehen” actually means is “till I see you again,” and since I never wish to see you again, to you, sir, I say goodbye.

We all know that you could never leave without telling us. You want us to beg, you want to feel wanted, to feel important...even if it is just in this isolated squadron of the internet. Anyways, until your next goodbye, and next return, and rinse and repeat, I bid you adieu, *******.

I had a little time on my hands and decided to fact check PG_AB.

what do you think about packaging our current wing players, with draft picks. to hand pick in the top 10? IE Hayward S+T + our draft pick(s)+ other replacable assets for Vonleh or Young
Tobias Harris is from down the block... i love that kid, hes a worthy project. but i think is a bit redundant with Gordo. i prefer an Iso Defender 3
i endorsed trading millsap for ekpe udoh, tobias harris and deron lamb in the thread right after the deadline
ive already discussed my trade up targets especially Poythress and Austin. heres a scenario for Shabazz
Lets say Millsap S+T + the 2 first rounders for sake of ease, in return for the rights to draft:

shabazz_muhammad.jpg

I REALLY REALLY REALLY like BURKS/MUHAMMAD starting back-court Hay can play 6thman 2/3 thats the roto, you can give them all 30+ mins...
now im biased with lefties i literally put like a 5% higher bell curve for lefties, ima lefty, ive played sports. when your lefty and can start from the top corner of the right wing, and you can drive left, and if no one can stop you, without sending help.... watch out... thats why ive said repeatedly over and over Crafty Lefty like harden
i could go on i want to see what you guys think of this though, shabazz seems like a defense breaker to me, i have him #1 overall
I said trade Hayward for Dennis the menace, not "a draft pick" in my eyes hes a Starting PG, not a prospect.

i fear a wes mathews situation is inevitable if we go into next offseason with both Favors and Gordon on qualifying offers, other teams are gonna drive the price up on us, on purpose. id rather return value back to the jazz NOW in the form of a 19 year old point guard

other teams can't drive up the price on an extension... And Wes Matthews situation was different, we had a bunch of guys under contract, and he is not as good of a player as either Favors or Hayward will be. He had pretty much reached his peak that year, as he has not gotten much better than that.

As for trading Hayward for Schroeder, right now Schroe is a prospect, and at best an unproven one. He might be good, but you simply don't trade a guy in Hayward who has proven All Star potential, for a guy who has not played an NBA minute, unless you are getting a sure fire guy that will be great. Hayward is a guy you should be trading for a very good player or not trade him at all.

Props to b_line for this post.

Giannis Vs Serge Ibaka (#24 pick)... go

i think honestly this is what worries me about adetokunbo for some reason. Ibaka looked way better to me, and less of a project.

i like adetokunbo though he can really run, i will not complain about Giannis if we pick him. Al Farooq Aminu is better. Giannis is really young for this draft though, not a bad pick to stash either

Rev hes a nice fit here in utah, if we select him with the #3 pick, i say its Gordon Hayward over Paul George all over again

Otto v. Shabazz

shabazz is the #2 player on my board, behind Len. i know thats far off consensus these days, i plan to be correct though.

me thinks otto has some bust potential, i wouldent touch hiim at 3 or 8, maybe 10-12

also i believe Shabazz Muhammad will command a double team in the NBA, does anyone think that of Otto?

I literally went through just half of his posts in the 2013 draft thread. It was extremely hard to find some of these gems because he went back and edited almost 2/3 of his posts because he was ashamed of them. I had to physically go to the posts and look for replies by other members that had the original quote. Check this link out and see for yourself:

He claimed in the same thread that he posted with 85% accuracy and in this thread he said he wondered why there wasn't any "PG_AB for GM" threads around here. Well buddy.. This is exactly why.

Why go back and edit all of your posts if you are so good at this stuff?

I literally only went through half of his posts from one thread. Who knows what I would find by going through the 2014-2016 draft threads and looked at all of his posts. I don't have the time but I think my point has been made.

PG_AB, you are a huge contribution to the draft threads but your track record sucks and sucks bad. Stop with the better than thou attitude and stop with all of the bragging.

Lonzo Ball's youngest brother LaMelo dropped 92 points last night. 30-39 from 2 and 7-22 from three. LiAngelo is resting for the playoffs. They won 146-123. That's a lot of ****ing points to score. Lonzo and LaMelo are going to be stars.

No he wont. Go watch highlights from that game, he just cherry picked nearly the entire game. It was a constant 4 on 5 for both teams. One would score then they'd do a full court pass and shoot. Wash rinse repeat. It's hilarious how bad it was, like shooting running 30 foot floaters at times bad. Not saying he sucks, but I dont see him being nearly as mature as Lonzo, of course he has a lot of time to grow up, but he plays more like Austin Rivers than his brother.

I did some fact checking on your posts and this is what I came up with. Not from 4 years ago just the other day.

Since when do they review shot clock violations?

What the **** do you know? This is the person trying to hold my feet to the fire? Someone who doesn't even know the rules of the game..

Prediction; When I leave, DX will turn into the word of god in these threads.. Opinions will be formed from other peoples opinions, not from actually watching the games.. Wanna know why I'm certain this is true?? Because there's no one here (other than me) who seems to really watch the games and post about it consistently...

How many times do I spot 10 -15 things in a day's action and I come to this thread, to share, and there's not a word about it????Y'all cover what ESPN and DX covers and little more. I seem to follow the doings on the west coast more than any of our west coast contributors in this thread.. It's simply because y'all lack passion compared to me, or are too busy with other distractions watching pornos or glancing at your smartphones 1,000,000 times a day or whatever it is you prefer to do over genuinely scouring the landscape of college ball..

It's abundantly clear you would prefer the status quo over someone like me who's often correct in pointing out flaws in the consensus. Blissful ignorance reigns supreme here, thats the golden rule of JFC -- Not saying that isn't completely appropriate for a loser franchise btw, doesn't make it 'right' tho..

Is that a a proper sampling of my comments from the 2013 thread?? of course not. no mention of the 100 assholes arguing with me about Trey Burke being the next chris paul and the near unanimously held belief here that he was a worthy lottery pick? What about the posts where I said I'd take Rudy with the 14th pick? and that Tim Hardaway Jr was actually the best prospect on Michigan (correct)? That Karasev wasn't 1st rd material.. what about my insistence that Schroder was the top PG in the draft?

I thought Pierre Jackson was gonna be a steal in the 2nd but he's had devastating injury after devastating injury -- I guess thats 'my fault' too right?

Just ask yourself; What type of standards is PG_AB being held to here, in a field thats an inexact science?? The Harrison Barnes thread should have 20 people eating crow in it but my 4 year old opinions are the topic here today, not today's games

.. This thread should ultimately be about us picking apart consensus opinions, instead posters here try to pick apart the users who have an opinion aka me (((the only poster in this thread who consistently and correctly goes after DX's opinions:D))), usually in the form of mentioning some worthy candidate unmentioned on their various rankings. (Like when I was just saying Justin Patton is a lottery pick this year! beat them to it by like 2 updates.)

The reason is because these coddled spoon-fed grudge-holding lames take **** too personally. When I said Trey Burke wasn't that good and was overrated because of NPOY, people took it personal here. When I said Aaron Gordon's shooting mechanics were infact broken, people took it personal here. And now y'all some scorned bitches just a few years later, surprised? I'm not, THATS JUST HOW KNICKS FANS ACT TOO.

I went back and edited the stuff knowing that semantics warriors such as yourself would claim I'm avoiding a true refutation. I always knew yall suckers weren't deserving of that type of satisfaction though, I deleted so many spot on predictions but you can choose to believe otherwise, I invite it... the mind works like that, you fill in your own blanks, and when it comes to me here on this forum, the blanks are often filled with something negative -- glad to have forced that association upon so many here. Surely, if my posts weren't potent that'd have never occured.
