Following Potential 2025 Draftees

Demin has made 3 of his last 31 three point attempts. He is a guard. That is not good.

Ooof. 3 of 32. Just took a turnaround fadeaway 3 with 6 seconds left while down 2 and missed. Really poor decision to even take the shot.

He’s struggling but the shots are on line and the mechanics are clean. I can’t really figure out how he’s gone so cold. He’s still a guy I take in the lotto. Great passer. Teams blitz him off the picks now and he’s figuring it out from time to time. Had a couple nice lefty finishes today. He did blow a dunk when he took off too far.

I’d love to see his potential assist numbers. I know everyone has ones where the player muffs the shot but he had a couple that hit guys hands and they just blow it. Setup the big for a nice contested chip shot at the rim when it was tied and he left it short.

I think Egor ends up back half/end of lotto. I’d love to trade up to get him. He may be sliding out of the range where we take him with our pick. I also trust that Danny and Ryan have more intel on him than any draft prospect ever lol.

Demin has great passing, rest of his offensive game is not close to NBA level yet. I don't have any numbers on this, but just from watching a few games it feels like BYU plays much better on offense without him. He kind of canniblizes the offense. Sometimes he’ll get a cool assist, most of the time it looks like he can barely dribble and has no business having the ball as much as he does.

This draft isn’t very good outside the top 3 imo, so I don’t think he can fall too far but he’s been truly awful against non-terrible competition.
