You must spread some to give more to franklin.
It could be an issue... but at the same time half of those also say the positives will outweigh the negatives.... and every year 1/2 to 2/3 of the picks based on the scouts info turns out bad. The only way we will find out for sure is to check back in a year or two to see how things turn out. Many people think he will fail, but there are enough scouts, GM's, and regular people that think he will suceed to make this interesting. I say we take him with our 2nd pick... but that's because I think he will suceed because I think he is determined and tough as nails.

Calling BS here. The single most frequent comparison I've seen across many media platforms is Eddie House (most recently today in Andy Katz's ESPN column). House, and Mark Price, are the comparisons used by NBADraft.net. Last I checked Eddie House wasn't white. That said I don't particularly like that comparison and it feels a bit lazy to me.
Personally in the Gonzaga game he kind of reminded me of an evolutionary Vinnie Johnson (since the three wasn't an emphasized weapon in Johnson's era). That's the only person I recall being able to square his shoulders to the hoop on the move the same way Jimmer does. Vinnie's physical stature was almost identical as well.
Trying to figure out why Harpring said Budinger does not look athletic last night. Only one reason I can think of.

While I certainly agree that NBA scouts get it wrong from time to time, it seems to me they're usually pretty accurate when predicting a player's weaknesses at the next level. Where most scouts/GM's get in trouble is when they fall in love with a player's strengths and feel like they can either be coached out of their weaknesses or that the positives are enough to overcome the negatives.
There's no doubt that Jimmer is a gamer with an attitude that you'd want any of your draft picks to have. But he's never going to be taller, faster or more athletic than he is now. If Utah uses their 2nd pick on him I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best but I think think he faces extremely long odds on being anything more than a role player at the next level.
I assume you're talking about Dick when you say, "wrong again". Clearly, I've never been wrong about anything on this board.

This is essentially my point summarized in a sentence. I just went out of my way to make sense of it to those that couldn't understand the concept.
Never playing defense in college is going to make him an adequate defender in the NBA. That's the most asinine statement anybody could make but several have already done so.
