What are everyone's pedictions on when Burks will request a trade?
I'll say the offseason, unless he already has.

Don't know, data set I'm using only shows sophmores who have played. How many are there on a team roster who have not played a minute?
By my count 27. But I was a bit rushed. How many of those 45 play for teams with better records than Utah?
guys what do you guys think about alec burks being held back due to racialist issues?
im not saying someone in the jazz braintrust has incentive to push the caucasian hayward instead of burks due to the unique utah fan base.
but im not saying someone does not, either. what do you guys think?
does that change the present situation? We drafted Burks with the intention of using him and then better options fell in our laps.

So, given that so many sophmore are playing on teams with worse records, it's not really suprising they are getting more minutes.
No, I think you got that turned around, 27 out of 45 played for teams with better records.
It is also interesting to see that most of the players that are close to Alec in minutes played were late first rounders. The closest lottery pick is Jimmer, who still gets more minutes than Alec.
I know you just want someone to bite on this idiocy, so I'll oblige. This is the dumbest one theory I've ever heard. Especially when Randy Foye, a black guys, is getting his minutes and the head coach, the guy who puts the players on the court, is also a black guy.
I know TyCo is black, but he maybe getting orders from higher-ups. Utah has a certain reputation around the NBA. For having a certain type of crowd.
A crowd that management feels there are incentives from to push certain type of players (hayward?) over other certain types of players (burks?).

Corbin needs to distribute minutes based on who will help him win. It's rough for the fans, but this is a business for Corbin, not a game.
So we're winning then, right?
I'm going to assume playing worse players won't help that either.
