People really need to watch Favors in this series. If he can't exploit Carmelo at either end of the court, why are some so intent on keeping him long term. This is a series where he should be an asset not a non-factor.

Overall, I'm not too concerned with OKC. I'm concerned by the refs and what I've seen over the years of stars being given an easier path to advance. But we can do this. Have to execute better.

Reffing seemed a bit one-sided to me in terms of letting physicality go on each end. But, the Jazz still allowed OKC to control the tempo after that opening burst in the 1st quarter and I think that is ultimately what led to the Game 1 loss. That, and the fact that OKC just seemingly couldn't miss.

I'll cut the Jazz some slack this first game, guys like Rubio and Ingles just weren't hitting the shots they normally would. I say nerves could have been a factor.
I agree that Favors needs to pound the glass more, we weren't very good with rebounding either. I'm confident that the Jazz will make the necessary adjustments for game 2.
Overall they put up a good fight.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that Adam's Dad and his 18 siblings were spread out among 4 or 5 different mothers.

The Antonio Cromartie of Australia apparently.

Also, the average height of his male siblings is 6'9"

Typical stay in my comfort zone Jazz fan. All some fans are saying is that AB should get some minutes. But, you have to stay the course on your AB hate. Because Quin never makes mistakes with his development.

What if scenerio....ready what if playing AB 15 minutes a game could guarantee us to win this series? Would you leave your biases behind and admit that you might be wrong about the AB hate or is this part of your DNA now?

If anything this series will make it readily obvious that The Jazz just need a bit more fire power on offense.

Utah may still win - they've been counted out before and proved a lot of people wrong. And if OKC's season is any indication of how the playoffs will go, they'll probably lay a big egg on Wednesday night.

But this theory about an elite defense being just as valuable as having an elite offense was exposed big time last night. In the NBA, the best defense for countering a superstar who's shooting lights out is a good offense.

Don't you still owe us a ban for Hairdon Greybush making the allstar team last year?

Nope he is not on the team anymore. Should his obsessed fans be banned?

I guess you don't like AB. That is fine. Carry on.

Looking at that again that could have and probably should have been a flagrant foul from Russ. That second one he goes right at his head on purpose with an elbow.

Rubio: He doesn't get the calls because he has earned a reputation for overreacting to minor contact. If every time you get touched you fall to the floor, then the refs are going to be looking at the play with a skeptical eye when you are legitimately knocked to the floor. Also, if you're trying hard to win a thespian award, then you are not concentrating on the game.

Gobert: Rudy will just have to figure out how to be effective without relying on the refs. It would help if he would quit bitching about getting fouled on every shot attempt.

I can't recall a single time where Donovan bitched about a non-call, he just picks himself up and runs to the other end of the floor. I wish certain Jazz veterans would follow the rookie's example.
