Actually this game our defensive plan kind of worked. We played real close to 3P shooters and dared them to drive inside to face Gobert. In the end they struggled shooting the three. They made 7 threes and if I'm not wrong 4 of them come from transition/fastbreak.
Our problem was offense this game. If not for the poor offense we would not have allowed 100 points. Bad execution, forced shots, turnovers.. Actually any missed shot was a problem leading to a quick GSW play. Sometimes we executed well and found the wide open shot but Hill and Hayward bricked them.
We could not get anything going except some stretch in Q3 when we got easy buckets inside. This worked for us in G7 vs LAC, may work here too because our shooters are kind of cold.
Overall this was a good opportunity to steal a game as GSW did not look like their best but we did not make open shots and we turned the ball over often, made tons of unforced errors. We were really slow getting back to defense too and the transition points were the difference in this game.
Jazz had 13 turnovers - felt like they had 25. GSW seems to capitalize on every mistake you make..
