Did anybody read the SI article by Jeff Benedict on the Hadly situation? For the record, I think Hadly is probably a really good person who simply made a mistake but I think the article is a puff piece by an LDS author that was nothing more than an attempt to serve as pro-BYU propaganda.

Thoughts?

WTF is supposed to be inspiring about the story?

Wow what a long hard road of redemption it has been for him these last 9 days.

Reminds me of the time my Mom went out of town when I was in high school and I had a party and she caught me when she came back and found some beer cans. Channel 5 news did a piece on how ****ing courageous I was for getting caught drinking and not spontaneously combusting on the spot.

Can a byu person explain how hadley has done anything courageous?

Also, the scene that dude laid out in the prison is one of the funniest things I've ever read. The one inmate starting the slow clap, then everyone chanting byu. Bahahahahaha.

I hadn't seen that first one, that's some funny stuff.

If you guys add the Falslev pic you can have your holy trinity of Ute "fan" pictures.

Strangely enough none of them would include any Utes... but c'est la vie... the life of BYU haters masquerading as ute fans. It's cool.

Truth be told, and I can't speak for anyone else here, but I don't care if BYU goes 1-11, just as long as the lone victory is Utah. That makes each loss against Utah that much harder, but it is what it is. I couldn't give a mule's right ball about going to bowl games or beating other teams, I really just don't care.

The silver lining? I probably get more pleasure watching the Utes lose all of their conference games than is healthy, and it really makes my season to see them miss out a bowl game. Seriously, I hate you all so bad. So, so bad.

Good point, it does go both ways. I honestly have not seen the Ute haters masquerading as BYU fans until recently.
Personally I don't get it, but whatevs. Sometimes other fans bug me, but I guess I'm not emotionally into it enough to let it turn me to the dark side ala Anakin.

Dude, you're pretty much a lock for some emotional AA meetings in the future. The story will make a lot more sense to you then. There were 100's of people there. One of you Utes should go visit some family member prisoners and debunk it since it seems to be your preoccupation of the moment.
