So, Hadley's problems didn't start when he decided to break the HC. They started when he was caught. And it was Utah's fault he was caught.

This is such typical BYU behavior. Hadley's problems were because he got caught and Ute fans spit and swear and pour beer on everyone.

Once all the info came out about the hadley situation I stated in this thread that it was hadleys own fault.

I have never said anything about ute fans behavior at football games.

THE ARTICLE IS HOW IT IS UTAH'S FAULT FOR HADLEY GETTING CAUGHT AND UTE FANS ARE MEAN.

Actually the arcticle was about hadley speaking to inmates at a prison and the writer making it sound more special and important that it was.

I think you think that we have been discussing the hadley getting caught drinking situation when that is not what has been discussed recently

The part I think is outlandish is the slow clap and the "chanting byu louder than in any stadium."

It's very cool of byu's players to visit the prison and talk with those incarcerated. Not ripping on that at all. Ripping on the writer for embellishing the truth, therefore detracting from the good deeds the players may have been doing that night.

Close your eyes and imagine it going down the way the writer layed it out. They wouldn't even put that in a movie because everyone would laugh.

I don't think I started "all this" (though I definitely contributed more than I should have)..... I didn't back any article that said all ute fans were trash and blamed Utah for Hadley drinking alcohol.

I asked this before, but what is supposed to be inspiring about hadleys situation? I don't understand what he has done that is courageous. I don't look down upon him for what he did in the slightest, just don't get what "redemption" he has had in the last 10 days. Did people expect him to die or something after he got caught?

Year after year I hate the utes less and less and even find myself liking a lot of their players, and then ute fans show me how much hate they have for anything byu related and it just makes it tough to like the utes.

Byu does a good deed and goes to the prison to try to help out some inmates.... Lets bash em.
Hadley goes out and has some drinks at a club, something lots of us do myself included, byu suspends him for five games for it..... Lets bash em.

Ute students make a video making fun of missionaries..... barely a word is said about it.

Amen to this. Both my parents went to the U, so even though I went to BYU I've been a Utah fan most of my life. In fact, I remained a Utah fan up until I actually moved here to Utah (six years ago). Now I am not at all. And the reason for that: the other Ute fans. Of course not ALL Ute fans are classless, but judging from talk radio/message boards/comments on newspaper website/etc, a very large chunk of them are.

It's funny that in a day and time where every human being alive is carrying a cell phone camera that none of these beer pouring incidents have ever been caught on tape. What has been caught on tape is a byu fan trying to assault coach Whittinghams wife, a byu fan attacking a Utes cheerleader on the field, byu fans throwing trash at referees, and a byu player yelling "**** you" at a Utes fan. Why is there no videos of things like this with Utes fans?

There is a 0% chance the beer incident ever happened. I've been to every Utes home game the last 10 years, and it's a laughable scenario, just like the byu "remember the titans" prison story.

PS: I generally think green is a retard but he nailed it with Max Hall lying about beer incidents at both schools he attended.
