I enjoyed watch the game at the bar with this guy. He was drunker than me and left the bar early cause he just couldn't take it anymore.

Those who are bashing Anae are morons. Just what offense is going to work with Tebow at QB, a horrible Oline, and subpar WRs? I don't necessarily agree with go hard and go fast. But those who want to blame Anae for not finding a good offense with the cards he's been dealt with have no idea what they're talking about. Unless Ammon Olsen can pass, BYU can't run a damn pass play successfully for the next few years. Not until you get an Oline, WRs, and a QB.
If you want to blame anyone blame the previous coaching staff. Just what the hell were they recruiting these past few years?
Literally, Anae has 2 options... Go hard and slow, so the games end quicker and the other team has les time to score. And bench Taysom to go with hill. Word is, Bronco likes Taysom. So maybe Anae can't even decide who he wants at QB? But then that takes us back to Bronco. No one out there is better. Nick Saban isn't coming to Byu.

Colton, I remember there being a thread that some "sports site" that I really think was just a Y fan broke down the instate QB's and why Hill was the best instate QB (as far as why that was brought up that is my best guess).
However that reminds me of another preseason debate/trash talk which I thought strange personally. Which OC would have a bigger impact/help their team more. Guess the reason I found it strange is I remember many Y fans begging for Anae to be fired (or at least in the U vs Y threads I read) and when he was there was much rejoicing. Granted they quickly turned on Doman but I didn't expect them to embrace or re-embrace Anae so quickly.

You are the one crying about getting dominated by Utah for the last 4 years. A lot of that falls on Bronco does it not? Of course you aren't getting someone like Saban, but to be fearful that you might not get someone better is to be content with the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl. Sometimes you have to take a chance.
Please stop comparing Hill to Tebow. Tebow was actually a good college QB. Something that Hill will never be. Hill couldn't carry Tebow's jockstrap when it comes to the college game.

Dude, this is where you lost me. Bronco has been running the show for 8 years! If the recruiting is flawed, that's on him. No way you can put that on his assistants. Maybe the MOST IMPORTANT job of a college HC is identifying the types of athletes that you can recruit, and filling your staff full of assistants that can maximize the talents of those athletes.
The fact that 8 years in, Bronco can't seem to figure that out is a huge red flag. I honestly believe one of these 2 statements has to be true: Either Bronco is horrible at matching recruits up with the type of systems he wants to run, or BYU simply can't recruit the players they used to.
Personally, I think it's Bronco. Call me an idiot if you like but I think the guy is a brilliant D-Coordinator who has no business being an HC. He's basically a Mormon Dave Wannstedt.
