You're probably right. That website is a bit verbose.
As for being over the rivalry, I've definitely never said I was. There are few things in life more satisfying to me than watching the arrogant and self-righteous portion of that team's fan base choke on their words. As a kid I remember again and again and again how people in church held up BYU victories as evidence that Mormonism was the one true faith. I was very religious at the time, but I always hated this mindset. I don't plan to ever get over my contempt for BYU. I enjoy watching them lose to anyone... but I particularly enjoy seeing them lose to Utah. So while you might lose a portion of the anti-BYU fan base due to this gap in play, there is no need to worry. You will not lose me.
I've always felt that no way is the rivalry over. Those that say it is or who say they are over it are full of ****. I'm sure there are a small few who actually are, but the vast majority isn't.
And I feel the same way about losing to Utah. I now understand the whole "I'm okay going 1-11 as long as that one win is over Utah" mentality.

Has anybody else noticed that every time it looks like this thread is going to slide off page one it somehow leaps back to the top of the pile? It's incredible! It's as if this thread has a mind of it's own is determined to keep reminding BYU fans that they lost to their rival for the fourth time in a row and that they don't have another scheduled game to redeem themselves for two more years. Cruel!

Interesting that every single poll/ranking system listed in this article thinks the Cougars are currently the better team. Looks like one team has gotten better since this game, and one team hasn't.

*Obviously they don't, or computer rankings would not be needed (nor polls, for that matter)
** Obviously most aren't. Look at BYU's offensive production in the first three games compared to the last 3 games for example.
