God and Country

I certainly see that in my own case….
This is because of the hateful rhetoric you have become. Unlike your sheer hate speech by definition I can provide facts not bigoted hate speech conspiracies.

Attacks against churches doubled in 2023, report warns: 'Growing disdain for Christianity'

Anti-Christian hatred is accelerating in the United States, according to a Christian nonprofit that has tracked violence against U.S. churches since 2018.

The Washington, D.C.-based Family Research Council (FRC) released its annual Hostility Against Churches report last week, finding there were 436 hostile incidents against churches in 2023. This is more than double the number tracked in 2022 and more than eight times as many as the group found in 2018.

The group said it used publicly available data to track 915 acts of hostility against churches over the past six years. Most of the incidents were acts of vandalism. The report also found gun-related incidents, arson and bomb threats used against churches.

Americans appear increasingly comfortable lashing out against church buildings, pointing to a larger societal problem of marginalizing core Christian beliefs, including those that touch on hotbutton political issues related to human dignity and sexuality. Attacks on houses of worship may also signal a discomfort with religion in general," the report continues.

FRC President Tony Perkins said the hostility toward Christians displayed by the Biden administration is mirrored by the growing persecution against Christians worldwide.

To his most zealous Christian supporters, Donald Trump’s campaign is a crusade against “evil” liberal forces that must be vanquished by any means necessary to save the republic.

Democrats aren’t opponents, but enemies to be “smited.” Vice President Harris is depicted as Jezebel, the epitome of womanly wickedness who meets a grisly end. Teachers, librarians, drag queens — all perceived as introducing dangerous ideas to children — are condemned to drowning with millstones around their necks, a la Matthew 18:6.

Spiritual warfare is a central theme of Christian nationalist movements that are reshaping the GOP by preaching that the country’s theological identity is under attack and in urgent need of a revolution to put the faithful in charge. Their rhetoric has been galvanizing crowds at conservative gatherings all year, and is likely to be woven into messaging at the Republican National Convention, which starts Monday.

The movements’ biblical references, extremism monitors warn, soften violent and racist messaging, and offer plausible deniability should believers turn into vigilantes, as hundreds did during the storming of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

“You are either on the side of God or the side of the Devil,” said Miranda Zapor Cruz, a theologian at Indiana Wesleyan University, summing up the rhetoric. “If you are on the side of the Devil, then just about anything can be justified to cast you out, to eradicate your influence. And, for some people, that ‘just about anything’ would include physical violence.”

………Longtime Trump confidant Roger Stone told a podcast that a “demonic portal” had opened above the Biden White House. Another MAGA stalwart, former national security adviser Michael Flynn, says the nation is in the throes of a spiritual war and has called former House speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) a demon.

Despite never being particularly religious, Trump in recent years has played to the hard-right Christian view of him as a beleaguered defender of the faith, including comparing his legal troubles to the trials of Jesus. He declared the Nov. 5 election “Christian Visibility Day” and promised a faith advisory group that he would “create a new federal task force on fighting anti-Christian bias.”

“No one will be touching the cross of Christ under the Trump administration,” Trump pledged in February, drawing loud cheers from a crowd of hundreds at a Christian media convention in Nashville. “I swear to you.”

In sermons and on podcasts, hard-right Christians reason that Trump’s utility in pushing a more conservative national agenda on issues such as abortion outweighs hesitation over his history of lying, his 34 felony convictions, or the accusations against him involving sexual assault and other crimes. They depict flaws as chances for redemption and stay laser-focused on the broader mission: Beating back the diabolical forces they call “Demon-crats.”

“If everything is cosmic combat, you never compromise,” said Matthew Taylor, who researches Christian nationalism at the Baltimore-based Institute for Islamic, Christian and Jewish Studies. “Who wants to compromise with demons?”
LGBT = Let God Burn Them.

It's becoming more obvious by the second why alt-Left Democrats want to take away our guns. Fish and Red are all but openly admitting their fantasies... They barely hide it anymore. I'm not even religious and I didn't even pay attention until I started seeing how much they hate anyone who reads a bible. Literally hate them.

LGBT = Let God Burn Them.
Want to bet that the shooter that tried to assassinate Trump aligns more closely to you and @Red than he does to any Christian Nationalist? Your guys rhetoric is getting dangerous guys. Sad thing is, you already know that and you're proud of it. It's only a matter of time until this hits right leaning churches... But you both know that as well. That's kind of the point, isn't it?

That dude that went into the capitol on Jan. 6th sat in Nancy Pelosi's chair.

She had touched the chair.

He sat in the chair and it had not been destroyed.

The chair was there. It was fine. She had touched it, but it remained undestroyed.

I mean explain that.
Lol

It's crazy how Red is here spewing nothing but sheer hatred while literally proving the point that Christians have him to fear. He's exactly the hateful anti-christian bigot people are afraid of. He comes in here and spews literal hate speech and gets applauded for his blatant hatred. It's truly scary windering how far he will go with his hatred. He openly spewing hate speech... What's next?

Could you imagine Republicans attacking and spewing hate speech by definition to Islam like Fish and Red do Christianity? Could you imagine the uproar? And if I get banned, cool but I have defined hate speech and it's EXACTLY what fish and Red are doing... Word for word.

Hate speech is any form of expression through which speakers intend to vilify, humiliate, or incite hatred against a group or a class of persons on the basis of religion....

It’s “stochastic terrorism.” Once again a term coined by the left with fingers pointed while they themselves do it. They project everything they themselves are doing on the right. The level of hypocrisy and projection is insane. The attack on trump and the innocent bystanders at the rally is the literal definition of stochastic terrorism, but for whatever reason the term was coined by the left so they are somehow immune to it.
Not only will they refuse to admit this attack was disgusting, vile, and evil they dont think it was enough. If trump had died I’m not convinced many posters here would be satisfied either. They would then turn their hatred towards trumps supporters or Christian’s obviously. What else are they going to do with all this hatred they have been fueling for decades?

Uh huh….

I'm shocked you post this tacit admission that you've been believing a fantasy and have been posting nonsense trying to convince that a non-reality is reality, but I applaud you for finally seeing the light. I know that admitting you were wrong is not easy. I am happy to finally have you standing shoulder-to-shoulder with me in seeing the reality that Christian Nationalist cuckoos stand alone. They are not the GOP. They do not have much of a voice at all. The reality is they stand alone.
