AK had a bad attitude, wasn't dedicated, didn't work hard, and cried his way through his troubles. Don't talk to me about how Sloan used him wrong on offense because, that's not the only part of his game that droped off.
Sloan bent over backwards for AK. AKMVP, I'm calling you out right now how did Sloans generosity toward AK work out?

Sorry but you had very short memory which is blinded by sloanism. What 7 year slump?? - he had 1 year slump when Sloan cut his minutes and Dwill started freezing him form offense and Sloan did nothing about it. I remember numerous games from that season where AK played 15-20min only in and was left on the bench in 4th quarters.. his FG attempts dropped in half.... the game Jazz gave 14 pts lead to Miami in 4th quarter while AK was left on the bench is perfect example how ridiculous Sloan's coaching was. And Sloan never did anything to address it. Did he talk to DWILL? Never! Did he gave AK more minutes? No, did he tweeked Jazz offense? Heck he had no clue how, he admitted it himself. So do not call Sloan generous or that he did something, he failed as coach in handling that situation, there is nothing to talk about it.

He was admitting that he failed as a coach. Sloan can't mock anybody he is not smart enough for that.

I get AK problem because growing up playing basketball I was a great defender and an effort player. But, my friends didn't really try on the defensive end and they would be the first to chuck up 10 or so shots. It is hard to play your butt off and not even touch the ball on the offensive end.

That being said also a huge problem with Sloan and hopefully Corbin isn't going down this path is you taylor your game plans to your players to hide their weaknesses and show their strengths. Sloan's system only benefited three positions a PG, a big with post up games, and a shooter. That is why AK didn't work when Boozer came in then Boozer needed the touches. AK needs a system with more spontaneity he thrives in chaos that is why he was great on the defensive end. We had chaos with helping the helper and the garbage rotations being drilled into our players.

Ripping on AK is unfair because he was one of the greatest talents to play in a Jazz uniform. But, it is just like the Jake Heaps problems in BYU to get a star you have to make a star.

Good thing we never really got Dominik Wilkinson.

If hard working in practice and attitude would would be most important thing for Sloan, Araujo and Koufos would still be playing for us. Instead Koufos was put in doghouse without reason after Boozer came back from injury and never saw the floor. Same thing happened to Araujo, despite them both being praised by Sloan for hard work during practices and being gym rats.

Not true. He played great for Russia and won gold by being great teammate and sharing the ball with other stars on that team - Holden and Khryapa, he did not need to be the man and take winning shot in final game it was Holden. You AK haters probably never saw him playing for Russia, it would be eye opener how good of a team player AK is.
He was still producing same great numbers in 2006 with Boozer and Memo. Only in 2007 since Sloan reversed back to his old 1 to 4 orriented offense and left AK out of it then his production dropped and all this stupid drama started. I am tired of going all over it again... only blind people can't see that Sloan and Dwill were two most responsible people for it.

Dude you missing the point. And please do not put words I never said on me. There were not NBA all-stars ( WTF?), they were stars of that Russia team and had same amount of touches if not more then AK.
