I believe Haytimes transition D is at an elite level in the league...but his halfcourt/perimeter D is mediocre at best, which is strange...he has the physical tools to be an all around great defender. The Jazz may have had the worst collection of perimeter defenders in the league: Trey, Diante (who may have actually been the best of the bunch by default), Alec, Gordo, RJ. The standard for "best" here is pretty low.
Gordo was definitely better than Trey, Alec and RJ defensively. IMO his transition D is pretty good.
