Hayward finger injury

Ever hear of a guy named Kevin Durant?!
Team can give GH a contract with an opt out. He then re-signs with that team for max. Not saying he does. My original post was tongue-in-cheek. But the financial advantage of remaining in Utah is pretty low.

In fact, I'd be surprised if he doesn't want an opt out after year 3. He'd be eligible for another big jump as a 10 year vet.

Hayward isn't that caliber of player... short of losing a limb there Durant will get a full max next year... plus he makes more money off the court than Hayward. At this point in his careeer I expect him to take full max if offered... may have an opt out somewhere. I also expect the NBA to give a few more advantages for teams to use to retain their stars in the next cba.

Good point. Not to mention, Kevin Durant is about the biggest damn **** that the stank is totally confusing.

Tough luck. If I were Quin, I'd start Exum and try to beat teams 85-80. Muck it up, and dominate the boards with Favors and Gobert. All of this new stuff needs to wait until the centerpiece of the offense comes back.

****.
This sucks

And everybody agreed that he was playing out of position and struggled to guard NCAA wings. So....

We need to trade for Julius randle...he's a true 3.

The good news is the Hayward haters can get 10-15 games to see what our squad looks like without Hayward.
Ya it sucks he will miss time but I have to admit that I'm excited for Burks to get more minutes and I'm curious to see how the team does without him.
We have done pretty well in the small sample size of games Hayward has missed in the past.
