I think everyone would love to have him at 8m/yr, some would love to have him at 10m/yr, and very few would love to have him at more than 12m/yr.

agreed, 12 is too much. he doesn't have the freak of nature body that favors has, and his talent alone is not in the 12 range.

After a nearly flawless offseason I can't help but feel this would put a major damper on things.

If there's anything to the rumors, I am losing faith in this organization at light-speed. Favors is not better than Larry Sanders, is not as good as Serge Ibaka, and Hayward is not worth $13mil/year, let alone the ****ing max. The Jazz cannot afford to overpay PLAYERS THAT THEY OWN AGENCY RIGHTS TO AND DON'T KNOW HOW GOOD THEY ARE. Hayward and Favors need to be immensely better than they've shown (including this pre-season, where they should be dominating if you're looking at their years in the league, the level/intensity of the current competition, and the money they are supposedly getting).
