I say we sign and trade for MKG. Just to get something out of it. I am all about shooters. but Hayward is not worth this money.
And MKG will be worth the risk.

Nah I don't think he cares. He likes Utah. He will spend the rest of his life in Utah.

So Hayward is going to get paid more than just about all the players in the nba except 10-12. More than Kevin Love, Paul George, Russell Westbrook, and a third more than Steph Curry.

Actually, being in Utah made the big bucks for Hayward. So any GM in the NBA or Hayward should always remember that he may not get the chance to show his all-around game in somewhere else. As for the future, I think Utah is still one of the best places for him.

Maybe he just wants Jazz to suffer a few millions more to keep Hayward. Maybe he was never meant to grab him anyway.

Since all the sources think Jazz will match, I think there is a chance that Jazz won't. maybe a smokescreen to screw another team?

The thing is too if the jazz match then I doubt Burks or Kanter would sign contracts. They'll just assume they can play out the year and get more money and it will suck if they turn out to be better than hayward.

But isn't this the case now anyway? If the Jazz don't match, perhaps they send some kind of message, but Burks and Kanter will still have seen that they can decline an extention, play out the contract and get a huge offer from anyone. Doesn't matter if it's the Jazz or the Bobcats.
