What's new

How Much Do You Fear December 26th 2019?

Uhh, I guess you didn't watch the game.

Here's Gobert mugging Melo late in the game with Melo going for the three to tie the game. If Gobert didn't assault him, Melo The Jazz Killer sinks the three then gets the and-one on the foul that the crooked refs refused to call. Melo makes the four point play, puts his team up by one with just seconds left in game. Utah has no Big Shot makers, they chuck up a brick, Melo gets his eighth rebound....Melo's team wins. His four point play was the difference in the game. He killed the Jazz -- that's why he is called Melo The Jazz Killer.

THIS IS A F***ING FOUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, your argument is that in some alternate universe, he's a great player who wins games for his team?

OK, sure, I'll buy that.

No, no. You should have said that Carmarshmelo is so great a player the basket comes to him.
But that would be inaccurate and physically impossible. My points and posts are all based on reality.

I live in the real world, folks. You Jazz fans live in a world where you think the Jazz are like the NY Yankees. Reality check, folks. Yanks have 27 Championships, Jazz have won, uhh, hmmm, this one is hard to figure out. Ah, now I got it. I believe the answer is the Jazz have won zero Championships. Deal with it, you'll sleep better.

Mtjk, if the Knicks ever become relevant again (I know, mighty big if) will you still have time to come humor us?

C'mon, it's an easy number to remember. Same number of championships as your fetish focus.

WHEN the Knicks become relevant I will have no time at all to talk with you lesser people.

Look, I don't want to be rude, but NY rules the sports world:

- baseball we have the 27 World Series Championship winners Yankees;
- hockey there is the greatest hockey player that ever lived - NY Ranger Wayne Gretzky;
- football there is the dynasty killers NY Giants (18-1...New England Patriots :D...oh, man, they lost one game all year...and it was to the Giants in the Super Bowl :D);
- boxing, more heavyweight champions have come from New York than any other place.

I don't come here to talk to you about boxing, hockey, football, or baseball because you are so far beneath me in those areas. Basketball? Yeah, my Knicks have gotten a ton of bad calls go against us so we aren't doing that great. When the NBA gets better refs the Knicks will be on top again and you will never hear from me again.

Man, Gretzky barely remembers his time in NY. He wasn't the Great One from Edmonton or even LA. He was like MJ in Washington.

But I'm sure the Knicks will become relevant again. Sometime after they get new owners who understand anything about the game. But, seriously, you're blaming the REFs for the Knicks sucking? The refs are the reason they haven't even sniffed they playoffs in 6 years? Dude, if you had a baby born during Game 1 of the playoffs the last time they were in, that kid would be in kindergarten now. And probably telling you you don't know **** about basketball, because your opinions are, in the words of the great Wolfgang Pauli, not even wrong.

But, seriously, is your precious angel Caramelo a boxer, or a football player? No, he's a basketball player. So why the hell are you bringing up other sports? Because you know that the Knicks are going to suck until the 2030s? Dude, your team was drooling to get Durant and Irving, practically wetting their pants, and they couldn't even get a meeting with either of them. Instead, they traded away the only good player they had, and signed... Bobby Portis.

The science behind that Melo/Gobert picture has already been covered and fully explained by me. Learn to read all the posts in the thread, Chief.

Not only did you not explain it, the explanation you seemed to be reaching for (forced perspective) would have made the net large enough to make it look like Gobert and Melo could both fit through it.

Very amusing, though.

...seriously, you're blaming the REFs for the Knicks sucking? The refs are the reason they haven't even sniffed they playoffs in 6 years? ....
Yes. The refs.
Look, there are a few reasons why the Knicks have had a bad run for a looooong tme:

1. the refs - every single call they make goes against us. I watch all Knick games, you don't.

2. the schedule that the NBA gives us - When LeBum was in Cleveland and then in Miami we had to play him four times a season! Now LeBum moves to the west, so the NBA makes us play the reigning MVP Antentokoumnpo four times a year. Plus they schedule four games against Rookie Of The Year Ben Simmons, and next year the NBA will schedule four games that we have to play against Kyrie and Durant at the same time!

3. the fact that we play in The Garden - every player who comes to play us flat out says they want to post their best game at The Garden. Every player plays a thousand times harder against us at The Garden. You really think they play harder at the Vivint Smart Phone Arena?

I am not an excuse-maker. Those reasons above are simply facts.
