Two things that you ignorant Jazz basketball fans clearly did not see:
1. Melo had 7 rebounds, 7 crucial rebounds. You do realize the Jazz were up by 23 -- TWENTY-THREE! - and Melo led his team back to within one. Girls who watch basketball think it is all about how many points a player scores. Real men (like me) who played the game and know the game know that rebounds are just as important as points and rebounds is what made Melo a Jazz Killer the other night.
Plus in a game that the Jazz lead by 23...Melo was just a -4 for the entire game. When he was on the court, the Jazz were doomed.
2. I see not one Jazz fan wants to talk about this: Gobert fouled Melo on the three with a minute left. The single worst non-call in basketball history. I have never seen anything like it. If Gobert didn't cheat, Melo hits that three then the and-one...Portland up and wins the game. Melo kills the Jazz. But no, Gobert has to cheat in order to stop MeloTheJazzKiller.
Admit it, you were scared. Down 23 and Melo leads his team back on an amazing comeback. 7 rebounds a crucial four point play to take the lead with a minute left...admit it, I was right, Melo had you shaking in fear. Melo with his -4, 7 rebounds, and clutch four point play with a minute left killed the Jazz.
By the way, Jazz play Melo again on February 7th. Fearing that one already, right?
